Hi,
Chris Harris has let it be known that he’s got another Touring GT3, replacing his accident damaged vehicle of yore.
Sorry, no link, as I’m only a technologically challenged ‘end user’. There is a rather long Harris interview on Rennlist, if anyone is interested. The relevant segment comes at around 1:10:00 into the piece.

Not to mention that a 600 LT would have been the right choice at Touring money

I'm sure I'll be shouted down for this, but it's just possible that Mr Harris didn't take advice from Ayrten Simma before buying his new car?

He was too busy having a frot off with AV185 about how great the ‘Manuel’ gearbox is and couldn’t take Chris H’s call.

600Lts, are well under GT3Touring Prices, Offered new car last week in the 150s, used ones up on Insta for lot less less. Had a good go in one this year, spectacular car to drive.

Where have you seen 600LTs for sale at a lot less than £150K.? .If so, then they are quite remarkable value for money and make paying silly overs for the latest RS even sillier than it is..The 600LT is along with the Exige 410/430 currently my favourite sports cars..The fact they are both British brands and made here in the UK is merely icing on the cake..

600LT v GT3RS is an interesting comparison. Both great driving cars but go about things in different ways.
Don't forget that base price on the 600lt was under 200k for the coupe, so when you take into account the over supply, discounts, the state of the market right now its no surprise to see to see 600Lt prices were they are. The problem for me with the 600lt as an out and out track day car like I use my RS for, is the track usage of the CCBDs, and having to pay 360 Plus Vat each time for a pre and post track day inspection, in order to remain within the warranty, unless its changed.

What? One of those posts that imparts you with info you were unaware of. So Mclaren ‘ask’ that you spend north of 400 everytime you track the 600lt to keep its warranty valid? A track car that needs checked every time it gets tracked? Either Mclaren are mad or owners are to agree to such or a bit of both. It’s a bit like dualit asking to get your toaster service checked every time you make toast. Have the manufacturers become so accustomed to our custom they no longer see it as they should?

Ferrari also requires you to have the car checked prior to every Ferrari track day (and I believe the warranty does not cover you on track in any case, check or no check)

Nice. Wonder if it’s RHD. Looks a bit dark for Racing Yellow so maybe it’s PTS.
