I have a soft spot for the IB cars and they are a better car really, last of the cars with no ABS
I'll take a 86 Clubsport please.

Personally agree that factory original air-cooled with a few tweaks is better than most of these so called ‘resto-mods’.
Each era has its own pros and cons, and I had two 3.2s, two 964s and two 993s, all bought new, as my everyday transport in the 80s and 90s.
Loved them all, and subsequently had a few ‘classics’ alongside contemporaries.
Different generations will suit different tastes - 993 being the most modern and the 2.2s and 2.4s being the popular choice of the pre-impact era.
In retro-mode, I actually have the most affection for the G50 3.2s. Had a low mls 3.2 Club Sport for 12 years, which had a special feel - bit lighter and a bit more zing - but not worth the current premiums over a standard SE model.
Any CS at a six-figure price is relying on their relative rarity giving them investment potential, and I think that boat has already sailed.

Its a CS. Overseas spec cars came in this colour combo and were rear badge delete. There's some terrible what looks like may be over spray etc in places and its very tatty. Whats the deal with that gear knob and not fitting the correct one?! I'd still buy it if it checked out though for the right money crash or no crash and I'd want to absolutely nick the car - £130k daft. Buy the car not the dealer. I've just looked at their stock and it looks pretty well so obviously things like below haven't effected them.

it has fog light and electric windows !! and even 1/2 the rear seats left in !! CS cars have neither and also have no rear seats.http://cardealermagazine.co.uk/publish/reckless-us...

And the normal 3.2 redline plus AC, a pair of sun visors, front compartment light, leccy seats and an aux blower in the engine compartment. Pretty crap fake but all it takes is one less than knowledgeable buyer. What is is with Yorkshire and air cooled Porsches? Edited by Porsche911R on Thursday 30th January 14:22

Just though I’d revisit this as the actual price can now be seen online.600k puts it ahead of a low miles RHD 997 GT3 RS 4.0 but behind the Carrera GT, for some reason I thought it would be more than 600k for such a sought after brand that hardly ever seems to pop up for sale in this country.
Just wondered what anyone else thought?
Understand they typically sell for about 10% less than they cost to build...despite the 5 yr wait. I suppose if you want one you’ve probably got so many cars you can wait and have all the fun of speccing it yourself. Singer are apparently quite aggressive in trying to protect the market/keep prices for “lightly used”.
Personally I definitely wouldn’t want 4wd and would also be in the “I’d rather spec one myself” camp

Hi chap - not sure how they can protect market - only way would be to buy back and re sell I guess. For £k600 ish , I’d go CGT every time Personally I definitely wouldn’t want 4wd and would also be in the “I’d rather spec one myself” camp
