Are you using the race version or the silenced race version? GPF car definitely sounds muted compared to the non-GPF car.I have both but running at the moment the Race Pipe
In terms of noise levels this selection gives you a good idea where everything sits in regards to dB
JCR OPF RACE PIPE (Silenced) & JCR SILENCED TIPS - 94.8dB
JCR OPF RACE PIPE (Non Silenced) & JCR SILENCED TIPS - 96.8dB
100% OEM (OPF 2019 GT3 RS) - 96.9dB
JCR CENTRE BYPASS & JCR SILENCED TIPS (Non OPF 2018 GT3 RS) - 97.7dB
JCR OPF RACE PIPE (Silenced) - 97.8dB
100% OEM (Non OPF 2018 GT3 RS) - 98.2dB
JCR CENTRE BYPASS (Non OPF 2018 GT3 RS) - 100.8dB
JCR OPF RACE PIPE (Non Silenced) - 101.2dB

- All readings recorded at Silverstone GP Circuit. Recorded on the national straight at the top of 4th gear with calibrated equipment and backed up with the circuits own recording equipment. Average of 5 readings result in the following.

Oulton rs day still does static, think i will stay standard.
Oulton still does static,Goodwood still does static
Brands no doubt still does
Castle Combe still does static.
There are a fair few about that still do... but I personally only do unrestricted days or 105dB at the moment. Plenty about still.

well that would be good news as a static at 4k revs would be a low reading.I asked for a very good reason, i am not a numpty. Its no good if the car fails at 4k static, you cant even get the opportunity to drive by if that happens.Every hillclimb is also static, and as my car will end up on some climbs,i need to know.
And as there is not static readings its about as much use to me as a choc firegaurd.

Pretty sure those circuits that still carry out static noise tests follow them up throughout the day with drive-by.... Oulton used to do them as you were heading up 'Clay Hill' so it was always worth short shifting in a noisy car! Donnington often moved theirs around and I've been caught out a few times there over the years. Most cars will pass a static as they won't rev higher than 3-4000 rpm.
Other thing to consider on the drive-by tests is PSE valves open or closed. Some bypass pipes / exhausts retain the OE valves whilst others do away with the valve assemblies all together.
