People with a vested interest (owners) will talk the market up, people looking (buyers) will talk it down. It's always been the way.

Like it or not 997.1 GT3's are being let go by their current owners and bought in the £60 K's
the last 2 retail bucket seated cars to sell were Jzm black one at £78k and 911 v one at £79k
Ashgoods was nice but not a tier one car but sold in a day or so in a panic market which imo has calmed a bit.

Comforts need to drop and are doing so, bad sellers in the 2nd hand GT3 market and most have been for sale a year !
I see a dealers dropped his comfort to £65k but as the miles are higher it’s still too expensive.

Can I buy a sub 30k mile bucket seated car with a correct service history starting with a 6 ?

No and I cannot see it happening either.

Can I buy a 50k mile comfort starting with a 6.

Yes.

As always a range of cars at all prices, people forget the few cars which have just sold or maybe did not know about them as not looking.
You could have just said "Yes, I agree". biggrin

I went out in mine for a few hours earlier killing bugs.... I did contemplate washing it before rolling it back into the garage, but the kettle was AND fresh scones just out of the oven

st picture but good point; 997 GT3's and RS's really come alive on the track. Here's some that were enjoying the full Silverstone GP circuit yesterday.

Yes, I did, but then I caught up with a mate who arrived in the paddock later in the day who I gather has a deal ongoing on the same car... hehe

Likewise, good to see you again too. Love how stealth the touring looks on track. Ridiculously capable too.

All fared better than the 720s I was following for a lap or so. Poor chap had only done one session and the "engine check" light stopped play.

Interesting the red top555 Gt3.1 has been returned to its owner as it was over priced and not selling and now the blue redline Gt3.1 has had 4K taken off it’s asking price.

Goes to show Ashgood got their pricing right at high 60s and anything above just sits around forever.

Redlines SOR still looks expensive to me.

The UK has a very small group of people who act like cars.
This is the reverse of Germany or France why they don’t mind older cars and the prices are very high for Cayman R, Spyder etc.

Strange County the Uk regarding car ownership where showing off means more to most than how they drive.

But yes 997.1 need to be £75k sub 30k miles and be CS.
Comforts need to be £65k.

thats not as good as the 56k mile 997.2 car up at £110k though. Lol.

The red one is owned by SCD do they have it back ?
GT4 market shocks me still at how high they are, def only £55k cars imo. Must be one of the best cars to date for holding value after 5 years ! Some are still over list !
IF I would have kept mine I would be £££ better off today and I mean Big £££ you cannot run a any other car that cheap for 5 years !!

Have to say my tatty 997.1 GT3 is living up to expectations. I enjoyed a Sunday drive along with a couple of other Porkers.
The free revving nature of the engine, the handling, that sound as you pass 5000rpm. Couldn’t ask for more from a car

Yes the red top555 car got returned to its owner and you are correct on who the owner is, I believe he fancied a change. Imo it looks a lovely car, so much so when it first came for sale at the start of Covid I made a offer subject to a inspection which was sadly turned down. It got reduced in price not long after my offer but it was still far higher than I personally would of been happy to pay for it. Strangely it’s the second time top555 have had the car for sale. Top555 were very helpful and very professional, first time I have spoken with them.
