Are there really 47 GT3 tourings in the UK (C16)?

Looking at the rpm technik video they apparently use porsche parts for the conversion so why would porsche not cover it?
The conversion is not done by Porsche or approved by Porsche and as it involves some parts being welded and electronics added that are not from Porsche it never would be.Guyr said:

A few for sale and asking prices are in the range of £215-£240k which seems quite a spread. Some of the cars have been for sale for 2-3 months.
A random question - with the fixed back buckets is it possible to access the rear at all? I have a couple of dogs that need to be accommodated. Unlike with 997 GT3’s, helpfully there is something to latch a harness to in the 991. I don’t mind a bit of faff and contortion. A search of YouTube suggest it is doable with the seat slid all the way forwards.

With the fixed buckets it definitively requires some contortion - and that's for smaller luggage like my laptop bag. Best to test this in real life as I guess only smaller dogs stand a chance fitting through the opening even if the seat is pulled all to the frontjh106 said:

Very tight with 918 seats, especially with a fat dog!
I have folding buckets, and these are perfect, except my shortish wife needs to sit on a cushion to see ahead clearly as they are not height adjustable!
Have folding buckets in my 1.2 Touring and my wife also needs her "princess racing cushion" I have folding buckets, and these are perfect, except my shortish wife needs to sit on a cushion to see ahead clearly as they are not height adjustable!

Been running mine on the Porsche winter wheel and tyre set. Staggering the pace on these in the cold and wet.
Nice! What tyre sizes are you running front and rear?
Are the stock 991 Turbo S rear alloys the same width as the standard 991 GT3 rear alloys?

Same as the Touring on the front 245/35 20" but the rear is slightly narrower 295/30 20" vs 305/30 20". Wheels are 11" wide vs 12" on the Touring wheels.
Cheers. Looks to be a good set-up. Do you have any issues with front ground clearance in moderate snow? I suppose front lift helps a little at low speeds.Edited by 993rsr on Monday 27th March 18:05
Here is my winter wheel setup.
991.2 GT3 touring wheels
9 J x 20 RO 55 245/35 R 20
12 J x 20 RO 47 305/30 R 20
my winter wheels
8.5 j x 20 ro 51 245/35 r 20
11 j x 20 ro 52 295/30 r 20
front.Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 10.4mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 2.4mm less than before.
rear.Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 7.7mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 17.7mm less than before.
winter wheels were originally from my 991 GTS
