Thanks for the various replies and in particular 993rsr for the photo. I guess folding buckets or non buckets are the easiest option but good to know it is doable with the fixed buckets - chunky cockapoo may need to lay off the cheese!

Have folding buckets in mine as specced from new. Highly recommend them. Really comfy and practical for rear access. Not sure many people ordered them.

Not an option on the 992 GT3 which is a shame. Possibly deleted as they were expensive to make?

Iconic auctioneers sale today 24 February 2024.

Result suggests this sold for £139,500.

What am I missing, it even has contrasting stitching!

I suspect it's the devil in the detail of this:
Auctioneer's description said:
At just over 5,000 miles, the car was involved in a rain-induced spin,

We've all spun out in the rain in a 911 at some point haven't we? smile

Even so with no insurance classification applied, it still looks reasonable?

Cheers JC.

Amazing to see how far this 1 of 47 cars has got.. appears in the advert even though the gentleman in this thread that registers numbers has already got to 65 cars.. on the car not sure an accident car, 14,000 miles, sold at 140 is reflective of the market

This

I think at £140 + 15% we are at £161k
For a higher mileage car and one with an accident of unknown quantity to us, I reckon that’s a pair price to be sold into the trade or private buyer at auction.

Will be interesting to see if it appears at a dealer and what it may retail at.

Didn’t Seawise’s Sapphire Blue Touring sell for similar money? That was a lovely car.

Not with that registration,
That’s not a current dvla reg.
so I may have it on another plate, or it could be a new find.
Or, because the plate is RJ it might be an import..

Do you have any other info or better pics?

I’d have thought the silver one is a bit of a bargain?

Market is definitely very different now, whether it’s a temporary blip or not they have to be the ultimate pre modern tech 911.

He bought it from Porsche Guildford, sold it back to them, and they sold it out to Dubai I believe

Pretty sure that only represents 992.

992 was designated as a separate model, 991 was not - so don't think you'll find it like that.
