It looks more like a Cup car, which to some will appeal I guess. However, the current 991 Cup cars to me always look like the rear wing is a bolted on after thought. This car is no different.

I like it - I might actually buy one of these for those days when I don’t want to take a trailer (assuming I can still afford a car in a couple of years given how the economy is going ...). Given I won’t beg for one, I am doubtful I will get one though - so probably academic

I'm surprised it has "turbo width" rear arches but no side vents.

Really like the look without the side intakes - much cleaner

There’s no such thing as Turbo width any more ! Maybe that’s one of the reason’s they have gone with the ultra big wing to really make the RS standout. Wouldn’t be surprised.

When I saw a 992 Turbo S next to a Carrera at the PEC recently front on it’s really lost that stance it had...will obviously be the same for the RS.

It may stand out, but like a codpiece, standing out is not necessarily aestheticsmile

If the pics correctly represent the wing on an RS then IMO Porsche have really misjudged this. Although an RS of course should spend most of its time on track, people do want to drive them on road without looking like you just visited Halfords and glued a massive wing on the back..... it looks awful and would be the first RS I haven’t hankered to own.

There’s no way this will make it to production. I’d be amazed that’s even legal, never mind commercially viable.

Just seen this on FB, that wing looks a fair bit lower and smaller to me, almost looks ok or am I just getting used to it?

He’s certainly giving it full beans shoot

Really hoping the back end looks better than this - it still looks a real mess to me. RS is even worse - that’s simply ridiculous frown

This is just typical !

I was offered a 991 GT3 RS a couple of years ago and have kicked myself ever since for not taking advantage of the opportunity, I made mental note to not pass by again if it was ever offered up again and sure enough the chance has cropped up again or should I say it has been offered up !

I’ve lusted after one for years, in particular the 997 variant, I hated the 991 when it emerged with the ridiculous wing top vents but now would relish the chance to own a Lava one, this one tho looks absolutely ridiculous ! The finished article cannot surely look a council estate escort from the 1990’s ?
The insurance company’s have cracked down on stick a bit to me mods and then this pops up ! It’s the most bizarre RS I’ve ever seen, especially when you think what the 992 GT3 Touring will have to offer ?
