Where do these generally get advertised? PH, Autotrader? Anywhere else to focus on? Specifically looking for a gen 2 non clubsport
Piston heads and Auto trader seem to be the most popular place for them. Speak with top555 or Ashgoods they seem to get good cars and price them to sell and their cars don’t hang around, they may even know of a car. Both really helpful to speak with.
Jzm will be all SOR and expensive compared to above IMO.
There’s a red comfort 10k mile advertised as a private sale but being sold by a merc independent garage which comes up for sale from time to time at different prices, it was on eBay at one point for 90k but lately it’s being advertised at 100k. Looks a nice clean and tidy car if you wanted a basic spec one. Not sure on the 100k asking price mind.

CC that sold for £64,261+fees
997.1 GT3 CS Silver.
Orion Solutions weren't they formally Williams Motor Company?CC that sold for £64,261+fees
997.1 GT3 CS Silver.
Amazing how they have a 5 star rating with absolutely no low reviews but worth checking 911uk.
All I remember is whenever I see a car between those buildings to keep looking.

Are you adding to the fleet or swapping a car out ? Shame about the Cameron car as it was for sale for months on end.

Swapping out I think. Ideally I'd like to run it alongside my Carrera T for a while to see whether I get on with a GT3 used primarily on the road but I don't really think the finances will stretch that far unfortunately, so the T will have to go. I did think about keeping the T and swapping the Elise for the GT3 but ultimately I wouldn't have enough variety in the garage and the Elise is very cheap to track even when driven hard
It’s a nice garage as it stands, cannot sell the Elise imo, I guess the T and the Golf do the same thing atm. So adding a GT3 is a nice add. I do most things in my golf clubsport, so no point owning a normal 911 really. I love my clubby.g7jhp said:
I don't know the car.
What's the history (apart from being sold on CC)?
Why haven't you bought it (or is that a myth)?
Not sure what you mean ? A myth . It’s been for sale twice on CC and talked about on here, so seems odd you missed it twice. What's the history (apart from being sold on CC)?

The cars not for me that was made clear at the time of the auction.

The Golf’s a great car - had it coming up to 4 years and no intention of getting rid just yet. 46k on the clock now ??
I am on 42k and the other half is having it. The cars too good to sell at this price point and miles. I would miss it to bits.So much better than the gti to drive.

Every one knows the car, so being at this dealer makes no odds imo, hand over the money and drive away in it.
Safer than buying it on the auction.
You clearly need to check up on the dealers history, then tell me you will happily give him you money! Safer than buying it on the auction.
I suggest you do so homework

I notice over the weekend that RPM are actively advertising for stock of these cars. Certainly not much of anything 997 GT3 or RS for sale, gen 1 or 2, right now.
Strange times for the 997 gt3, the bunch of cars have been on abs off the market for what seems like years in some cases. Even the red and white gen 2 private cars have come back on the market. At one point last year the red on was on eBay for 90k, its now back at 100k which says to me he’s only got it for sale the please the wife 🤣
