Can’t remember how much it was up for when I looked at it, but I seem to recall £64K. I know the owner who put all the miles on it sold it for considerably less. The number was quite frankly unbelievable/shocking.

Discussed here when it came to the market 3 years ago :

LuckyLuke started a thread in the Reader’s Cars section if anyone wants further updates.

Edit to add link to thread mentioned above :

I seem to recall the last time it came to market it was circa £55k.
Surely it's dropped in value in line with the general gt3 populus over the past couple of years?

I believe it’s owned by bertbert who posts on here from
time to time.

In my opinion he’s popped it on the best place to sell it, right audience and the ones who really want at it will bid it to what they thinks it’s worth.

I guess if it’s bought at the right price it’s a very usable
car.

It’s clearly been used, but must of been looked after to get to those miles.

I personally think it’s great to see this car as it’s clearly been bought by people who have enjoyed driving it.

It does indeed belong to me and I got very soundly told off by the PH powers that be for advertising by mentioning it a few days ago. That's where Mark spotted it.

I'm not sure if I can answer questions on it here, but I'm very happy to talk about it of course! Loved it for the 2 years that I owned it, when I was doing 30k miles a year. Now I'm only doing about 30 miles a year, it's time to try something different. I've kept the maintenance up of course and made a few improvements.

Happy to make contact via PM/email/phone if anyone wants more info. That way, I can hopefully not invoke the ire of the mods!

Cheers
Bert

Will be keeping a close eye on this car. GT3’s have remained an unrealistic dream for me (financially). Wrapping up in cling film would not be my desire so high mileage isn’t a big issue. So what do people think it’s worth? (sorry to ask in your presence Bert)

No problem. Now I'm asking a favour of PH; anyone know this car at JZM?

Would involve finance, and not crashing expensive mountain bikes, and perhaps even cold beans for dinner.... biggrin

They just don’t seem to come up for sale that much now.

Agreed. I fear that it is now or never if I am to switch, but cars like that, trading well above their new sale price and with low mileage are very much the preserve of collector's or those with a good chunk of cash.

Taking something with just 14k miles and starting to thrash it around tracks, I'd likely double the previous 10 year's mileage in less than half that time and, in the process, wipe a chunk of value off it too...

RPM also look to have a RHD 997.2 GT3 RS for sale. They're like buses!

The last 2 I saw advertised with around 25k miles were in the mid £140k region, not sure 10k is worth £25k+

There's a buyer for everything though at the right price, but with winter imminent, lockdown 2 imminent and global uncertainty, I still think these 2 are higher priced. Time will tell i suppose...
