I agree holds no interest to me .
You have an awful lot of opinions on a car you have no interest in.Reminds of a podcast I was listening to on Car Throttle with Chris Harris about keyboard spec warriors who know it all up until the point when it matters...
It’s worth a listen.

No, I am tea total.
As i said , just rumours but from a good source.
Do the math, my .2 GT3 was 135k, then stick quite a bit on that for the upgrades, wishbone, extra carbon, 21'' to 20'' rims and the brexit % charge.
170k easily?, but then spec it to the normal old must haves, 20k min.
If it hits 190k then surely flipping will cease with a bit of luck.
Plus, i would not be surprised if Porsche make quite a few, like with the 991.2.
GT3 with a toppy Spec will be 150k list.As i said , just rumours but from a good source.

My current 992 TurboS was 169k that was with all but Burmesiter..
GT3 never more than TurboS fact.
So 150k or there abouts sits well..
With the 992 platform you either like the inside or you don’t, myself having owned 2 previous 992 Carrera 2 and 4‘S, and now my current 992 TurboS am really please with the layout of the interior! Just hope there is a new bucket seat option to add to the mix! Nothing wrong with 918’s but there a bit ‘old school’ hahaha

I hope that proves correct but I be surprised.
Yes, the interior is a definite sticky one.
First deliveries be a big ask for March in the current climate. Thought January was meant to be deposit taking time.
All is interesting,
... From Henry Catchpole's instagram:
"From@the passenger seat the car felt like it had incredible lateral grip (definitely more than a 991) and composure in the corners, but there was more pliancy too. Can’t wait to feel what it steering is like."

Seems like they have done it again. I won’t be chasing one....my focus is on older cars right now. If I got offered one I wouldn’t be able to resist but I don’t see that happening.
If it’s only £10k more than the 991.2 that would make it a cheap car...at some stage our prices have to normalise vs Europe and whilst a GT3 may never have been more than a Turbo S I can see them being the same price. Turbo S’s don’t go for £40k premium’s which is what the two previous GT3’s have in there early days.

Im sure some on here hope and dream that AP listens to them
I would say it would be a complete redesign with a subframe mount, or similar, the rsr route is far to expensive for production, the rsr has hand fabricated wheel carriers and wishbones at over 20k a corner without the trick dampers, good news it will be wishbone front, may be even drop the need for rear wheel steer.
According to this it still has rear wheel steer.I would say it would be a complete redesign with a subframe mount, or similar, the rsr route is far to expensive for production, the rsr has hand fabricated wheel carriers and wishbones at over 20k a corner without the trick dampers, good news it will be wishbone front, may be even drop the need for rear wheel steer.

My guess is it'll be circa £130k basic with £150k for a well specified example without going over the top.IIRC AP mentioned in the video that they have put much work into an improved RAS which reacts faster to the steering inputs.
It'll look great IMO and personally looking forward to seeing a Touring in the metal. Will probably try and get one however a Touring this time methinks.

The information I have been given says that base price will be circa 15K higher. £150 is where it will sit for a well specified example. Still value when you look at the competition. The base car will be circa £125K, so with options the price mentioned of £150K is pretty accurate. Could go up to £165K with brexit charge.
My naff post above was a bit out.I added on stuff from my GT3 at 135k car to get up to 170k but i then stated stick your options on too at 20K, lol
So i optioned it twice to get up to 190k, lol.
I go with 170k then.
Be interesting what part ex .2 will get against one with the so called must have options - 120k maybe.?

Would say imo it is likely initial customers will have to jump through a few hoops 'financially' with conditions to secure a slot as was the case generally with the 991.2 but as exact build numbers become known this may well reduce as was the case with the 718 GT4 and Spyder although clearly these were influenced to a degree by Covid restrictions etc.

Yes maybe touring would be nice ... after a few big wing years
As Taffy suggested ...due to high numbers of 991 , although a nice car , trade in may be steep
Mine will be a touring this time, will be nice to have a change. Trade in will be what it will be, have used my 991.2 and enjoyed it as opposed to been obsessed with mileage and keeping an eye on its value. As Taffy suggested ...due to high numbers of 991 , although a nice car , trade in may be steep
