Is this car in the dark Gentian Blue ?? It looks fantastic. The dark colours do suit the car.

Could be the showroom lighting, but I think Gentian Blue is a much brighter blue. That looks more like Night Blue metallic, or a similar PTS colour.

Sorry but IMO the 991 is still looking fresh.

I think Meissen Blue looks like a massive Viagra tablet with nasty contrast wheel stripes.

I can take or leave the colour (bit like Gulf blue?), but the combination of the exterior colour and the shark blue wheel stripes is bangheadnonovomit

No question the cluttered and contrived overstyled 992 will date alot quicker than the perfect unadulterated lines of the 991.2.

That said the Meissen blue looks cool but those blingy and hideous distinctly chavvy non matching blue wheel stripes look desperate.

That makes the 991.2 look great. If you squint that looks like a lego version of the GT3.

Agreed

The 991 generation is never going to emulate the 997 but the 992 has no hope

Given that it seems to drive better than the previous model, i wouldn't be so sure. That's surely more important than (subjective) looks?

Nope. The whole package is important when it comes to road cars IMHO.

A couple of photos of a German 992GT3, owner has followed our Gulf Orange owner in removing the swan neck. Quite like the look, maybe better than the 992Touring?

I know that opinions will be divided over this....

I have a 991 touring and love it for obvious reasons.

I have a winged 992 GT3 coming next month, and, well, this really does in some part make me happier that I can remove the wing if needed and the car will look discrete and mostly other folks won't notice it as will blend in.

Yes, yes I know it won't have the aero to keep it on the road at speed, but for cruising around with the wife and dog on public roads there is no way I will need aero!!!

And when I go back to the track, it takes 30 mins to refit..!

Win win for everyone I think..

So

It's a yes from me!

Does beg the question of insurance ramifications in the event of a claim should the rear wing be removed.
