Anyone in a shark blue 992 up heading South from Kyle of Lochalsh yesterday with a mate in a 991 GT3? I was the guy heading North in red GT4.

Surely that is staged. The host Daniel Abt was sacked by Audi and has been doing all he can to get back in their good books, this being one of them.

Thanks for the Tip on the Pads, I was hoping for a better solution than the stock ones. I had mine checked after the last track day. After 2 Full days and one 1/2 day plus 1500 road miles they are down 25%, I change when they get to 40-30% remaining.
My pads have worn down just over 1mm so around 10% after 2 half track days at Silverstone and Brands with around 2000 miles total. I will be changing mine for the Manthey ones when they become available towards the end of the year. Although the PCCB's look very similar to the last RS they are a different pad hence why i haven't got them fitted already curse

My pccb pads have worn down to just under 9 mill on rears and 10.5 on fronts in 8.5k road miles. Am guessing it's the trickery and PTV wearing the rears. Both were 12 mill when I bought the car at 2.6k miles.

Cheers, It’s a nice feeling and one that doesn’t happen very often but I have zero interest in selling , the only thing that could possibly change my mind is a future GT car cool

Reckon there may soon be more 992 GT3s for sale in the OPC network than 991.2s. 2 and 5 respectively incl only 1 manual atm.

Goes without saying that this is all about greed. Change of circumstances seems to happen too often with these buyers, but I accept that can be valid too.

Nobody that actually wants one could be disappointed with this car. It’s absolutely top notch. I’ve also never had as many people want to look at or talk about a car.

Mine is really loosening up now. Just under 3k miles, 4 days on track and a geo and I’m totally smitten. Can’t see anything that would turn my head in the future either.

How do you find it with a set up? I take it’s a bit more camber and ride height etc. I am tempted to get mine done it has stock settings, but rear and front set to max aero, for my use it’s feels perfect zero undesteer or oversteer just so well balanced even on full power in the fast corners.

From my perspective I was still seeing some outer edge front tyre wear. I was feeling very little push but it was there. I’ve gone full aero, partly because the front plates block the brake vents a little. I am on steels and did get some fade at SS before doing this.

Setup is -2.5 at the front, -1.8 at the rear. Stiff rear ARB middle front. Front -10mm rear -5mm. Turn in is even sharper, it really darts about. Still fine on the road for my liking. Tyre wear is very even. Tyre temps suggest it could take a bit more front camber, but that needs a new fork onto top of hub/carrier to accommodate. Coming soon.

Hi Guys. I picked up my GT3 today from my dealer 400km away. Haven't had much of a chance to experience the performance or dynamics yet as it was a straight through drive on a boring arterial route to get home, but have to say Im very pleased with it so far...

However I left the Owners Manual at the dealers by accident so have a quick question for those with the car. Is it keyless entry? I cant seem to get that to work. Its keyless start but that seems pintless without keyless entry.....
