This morning I woke up to a notification from the My Porsche App that my GT3 order is being processed and production will start soon.

It’s the first of five stages that I will be notified of along the way.

I received this too and then subsequently an invite to PEC at Silverstone as the next step

Seems we in the UK may finally be getting a way to track the build/delivery like they have in the US.

Be cool if we got the photo of the car at the factory finishing build like the guys across the pond get

You do get the production photos through app.

The timing of updates appears to be somewhat delayed, but you do get them.

Don't read to much into the updates form the app... Its is soo far behind! My new Taycan GTS arrived at my OPC before it had updated to car gone into production!

My latest 911 Touring isnt even on stage on and it due to go into production week after next

Agree. I also got the first pictures from my Touring's production shortly before my rep called me that the car was ready for collection in the next few days

Is anyone getting a sense for how many they're making?

I get the impression that even though it's not always that easy to buy a new GT3, Porsche will still supply 992 GT3s in greater numbers than 991s.

It's just a feeling though, and I haven't seen any actual figures or evidence.

OPC phoned the other day, build on track, expected with them end of July. Getting closer

Confirmed and locked my spec earlier this week, PTS winged car, October build with a November delivery.

So, signed and deposited the order for a Touring in Dec '21; spec locked in Q1 '22 for "March build". This then went back to early June delivery, then delivery to dealer by end-June. Two weeks before end-June, informed that car was "in production" but now subject to "severe delays".

Now, delivery estimated to be 3rd week of October.

Anyone else enjoyed a similar voyage of frustration?

Deposit placed January. Delivery estimated Q3-4.

Spec locked. Currently tracking towards first week in Oct.

There’s obviously a whole tranche of allocations for October. I’ve just spec’d my car for mid October build. I’m trying to be realistic and expect it to arrive late December or some time in January. Good luck to everyone who’s car is due to arrive soon.

Deposit paid and spec locked December '21, was scheduled to arrive end June, but latest info is build complete 29 July, so slipped a little but not much, and at delears mid August. Will collect 1 September.

What colour did you go for? I can see its PTS but as PTS has now been removed from the configurator it does not show up.
