Chris uses his cars as Porsche intended. You should have bought it as that price.
I was sat watching, colour is not that great for me,interior would have been ok with standard covers. The paint needs a lot of correction, and plenty of chips by the looks of it,new tyres, probably new pads, have the brake discs checked and so on,not a bargain i would consider at that price point. If it had been protected from new,if presented in good order i would have seriously bid.
I still think a touring compared to a cs version is poor value at the moment,if purchasing new its a different proposition,no way is a touring worth 30 to 70k more than a cs,there is a lot for sale now.
I don't think paying significantly more for a Touring is worth it, they are after all the same car underneath. New I'd take one every time, and used for a small uplift but that's it. When I bought my 991.2 Touring from Germany the first owner lost 10k euro over the price he paid new, very different here!

Also bear in mind if a car's not had PPF from new, you'll need a very good detailer, mine had a number of stone chips at 5k miles even though it had never been on track and took several days to touch in and wet sand before the PPF went on.

Budget for that on a non PPF car.

I'm just spec'ing up a non-touring car for delivery mid-year, I may have gone OTT on options... but very excited to get the car.

PTS is available, so I'll push the boat out on it. The trouble is there's so much choice! I'm now re-watching every review on YouTube.

Are you hoping to spec 918 seats and PCCB's?

I don't think its all that bad Yellow. A decent PPF shop will do a through detail and sort out the chips before applying PPF and Harris is paying for the PPF application as part of the deal. SO he's has some fun on roundabouts and the car needs a new set of boots - I take it you know 993RSR smile You'll want a set of boots anyway, none of the cars came on PS4's and that's the tyre of choice for these cars. I think the buyers had a deal. Cheapest touring on AT is currently is 238K.

Yellow, myself and Paul Mac were more besotted with Nicole the sales lady. And don't let's get started on the muppet who drifted the CGT into the dealership parking lot on the way back from the test drive. hehe

It might even be a bit longer ago, I had a 28" waist then, you still do! I rang you about your midnight blue 993rs but had a car to sell, ended up with Andrew McAlpine's one and met you at Prescott. Nick Dunlop and I drove over, you were there in your red 993rs hill climb car. Reckon it was 1997/8. Jez Gilman was there in his silver RHD 993 RSCS.

Today I swapped my insurance over from my four year old 991.2 GT3 to my new 992 GT3 and got a nice little refund. 992’s are cheaper to insure than 991’s apparently.

Premiums are based on risk and previous payouts. Its unlikely for a 992 to have accident if its parked in an OPC's used car area

Worst case, the cleaner might accidentally run the hoover into it.
