Today I swapped my insurance over from my four year old 991.2 GT3 to my new 992 GT3 and got a nice little refund. 992’s are cheaper to insure than 991’s apparently.
Premiums are based on risk and previous payouts. Its unlikely for a 992 to have accident if its parked in an OPC's used car areaCollected my Maritime Blue GT3 today.
Very early days, but first impressions seem good.
Colour looks completely different in natural light than it does in artificial light. I was slightly concerned it was a lot of money to spend on a colour that might look very similar to Shark Blue but in the metal it looks nothing like Shark.

Thanks for the kind words, lots of love for Maritime.
It’s made the 7 hour round trip drive from London to Norfolk just to look at a colour (on a 944 for sale) 6 months ago seem less ridiculous than it did at the time.

It would do me alright.I think the 992 interior is just right, not often Porsche get the interior spot on.

I’ve been forced out for a fancy Sunday Lunch at a gastropub. We drove here in the GT3 but I still haven’t really seen in natural light, only from inside when I’ve been driving it.
I don’t want pudding, I don’t want coffee, I want to go out to the car park and look at my new toy.
Edited to add a sneaky pic as we were leaving.

Looks fantastic - i parked my maritime 964 RS next to a mates shark blue 992 GT3 and the colours are very different, much prefer maritime. in my opinion some of those original RS colours don't work on the new car (rubystone, mint, etc), but maritime really does. Very early days, but first impressions seem good.

Agreed, I think the 992 is too big in size for those colours to work. Maritime in this case looks beautiful!Gassing Station | 911/Carrera GT | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
