992 GT3 price increase

My dealer told me it was due to the model year change where they always put their prices up by 2%. Assume that’s the base cost. The cars are unlikely to be delivered in the current model year.
A 'normal' inflation adjustment of (say 2%) is probably not unreasonable (albeit still c. £3k), although you'd have thought that Porsche would have already factored this in to the base price quoted at the launch, so everyone pays the same. However, there was mention elsewhere of a £10k increase which would sting somewhat more!
Never known of this before seems quite bizarre tbh.
Having said that P can change the price anytime they like as per the conditions of sale on the order sheet.
Congrats on the allocation btw the car looks great in Guards like my GT4 although like others have commented the black wheels detract imo.

Ha ha that’s mad, not seen that for a long time but while I was configuring the GT3 I did think of the FQ !! ????
I sold it to a guy in Bath who then sold it to another guy who lives in my town who was apparently doing a full restoration on it. That was a few years ago now, wonder if I'll ever see it around haha.Timbuktu said:
