GT3 prices going up
Discussion
Yes, the GT cars are a cult within the cult that is Porsche. They have a massive following as proven by strong values across all iterations. Increased usability with the 991 generation has only served to strengthen demand yet further. And if, as appears to be the case, the 992 returns to be even more hardcore I don't see demand waning until legislation literally drives us off the road.

On the other hand they could well be £100k by Christmas again....as some 'experts' so infamously catastrophically incorrectly predicted last year....oh wait....
Trade bids were circa 105 mid December, and that’s what I was referring to, please do keep up.Edited by av185 on Saturday 1st May 19:27

Looking for a 996 or 997 GT3 currently and there does seem to be fewer around than a month or so ago.
Its a minefield to buy, crash damage, Rev ranges plus general wear and tear on a 20+ year old car!
Still have my white Gt3 after 9 years. I guess I must like it .Its a minefield to buy, crash damage, Rev ranges plus general wear and tear on a 20+ year old car!
You saw it when I came to your house.

I nearly bought a 997 GT3 last week but it wasn't the right car. I think Im too fussy with colours. Would also consider a nice 996 GT3.

996 or 997 ?
Have you done the Mclaren thing now
Would look at both.Have you done the Mclaren thing now
Yes done the Mclaren thing, after 36k miles across 2 cars that have been brilliant my driving requirements have changed. I want something that is raw and cheaper on consumables for track days. Have Anglesey booked so trying to find something suitable.
We should start to see more GT3 coming to marker at people trade into the new one.
The market is crazy now- best example of that is the Manual crayon GT3 with RPM. Someone bought it in early March for £135k. Did a road trip, stuck a few thousand miles on it (+ 1 owner on log book)- its now listed back with RPM 6 weeks later for £140k! Would take a mug to buy it i think.

And the two 991.2 GT3’s at OPC’s are both Comfort Spec PDK’s at £145k. Not even the most ardent Porsche/GT3 fanboy saw this coming.
World has gone mad !
Yep both steel braked cars too one is 2017 reg with marmite Miami internal trim in fact the other GTS comfort has just been increased £2k to £146500 which reflects the obvious huge demand for and short supply of these cars even with these specs.World has gone mad !

The comfort spec cars have done much better than with gen 1 because relatively few were bought .When there were 20+ Cars for sale there was only ever 1 or 2 comfort specs in there.
