100% correct, hardly anyone would notice the difference.
The car nuts will note that this is a better looking version of the GT3.
Tend to agree although I could do without the rear spolier. The car nuts will note that this is a better looking version of the GT3.
Got to hand it to Porsche they don’t half know how to extract money with options..
I’ve had my deposit down on a Gts for about 6 months and have been counting down the days to release , then last week the local Porsche centre invites me to take a manual Cayman 4.0 GTS For the weekend !!
Now I’m very very conflicted , what a great car , loved every minute of it , though very heavy clutch which did make my leg ache after about 100 miles of driving and quite a few in Central London to be fair !!
So now I’m torn between £120k for 992 or about 75k for the 718 4.0 Boxster ??????? ..

Aero kit to me just say "I didn't get a GT3 allocation" or "I can't afford a GT3".
Sorry, and only my opinion, but they make me
Each to their own , I wouldn’t get one , nor a GT3 for that matter now days feel a bit OTT in that on the roads , used to enjoy driving around in one when I was younger and GT3s performance were more accessible on the road Sorry, and only my opinion, but they make me
I've currently got a 991.2 GTS but i've had a letter of intent down at an OPC for the 992 GTS for yonks. (although not heard anything from them!)
However, I'm slightly underwhelmed by the 992 GTS. It just doesn't look as special as i wanted it to imho.
I suppose one would need to see it in the flesh. Shark Blue looks ace though.
I think I'll find it hard to justify the extra cost to change at the moment. Everytime i get in the 991.2 GTS i still think "crikey! what a car"

Looks lovely, Aventurine is a nice colour.
I did the maths earlier, and forgive me if this is slightly out, but the GTS is only about £900 more than the equivalent S model like-for-like, which actually makes it decent value. That really depends if you would ordinarily spec the SportDesign Pack and the upgraded wheels (worth over £4k between them), but the rest are probably must-have's so it's better value than I first thought.
Upgraded seats, PASM 10mm, PDLS+, Sport Chrono and Sport Exhaust would all be on my S spec and are standard on the GTS.

I also have a 991.2 GTS. Like you, I love it when I get in it and drive it. However, I'm slightly underwhelmed by the 992 GTS. It just doesn't look as special as i wanted it to imho.

However, having spent some time in a 992 recently, it really makes you realise the 991 foundation is now getting on for a decade old. That's a lot of time in car terms, and the new interior does feel light years ahead of the 991 era.
Yes, I have ordered a new one...

Yes, totally agree. I've said to my OPC that I'll wait and see the car in the flesh. I'm pretty sure that will push me over the edge once i sit in it or drive it!
