£180 per alloy. Doesn't seem that bad to my being honest.
Yes, I agree, especially taking into consideration the advantages of having them done by dealer.

And the 992 Turbo S alloys are slightly wider, different offset I believe. So although the 992 GTS wheels are Turbo S 'style' wheels, they're not exactly the same wheels if that makes sense and therefore not a straight swap option.

I am 4 weeks into ownership smile 1500 miles, and just, well, what a car.

I'm a C2GTS Cabrio, Manual, Gentian Blue, RS Spyders, full truffle interior with brown roof. Crayon Stitching.

So, thoughts. The manual gearbox is sublime, the car is so involving to drive, so fast, you can't possibly need more power than this for road driving.

The suspension is fine for daily driving, its lower and a bit harder than a normal carrera, but its fine, lovely on a motorway. First weekend we went from just north of London, up to Peterborough, then across to north Norfolk for the weekend. Did 600 miles all in, different driving, was fabulous on any type of road, be it cruising at 1500 RPM up the A1 in seventh, or pushing a bit harder down some nice twisty roads.
I missed this post for some reason, perhaps because of checking the forum on different devices throughout the day. Congratulations on your car, that looks absolutely stunning and the exterior and interior combo go well. I think you stuck to your guns even though some on this forum or another were advising against the truffle interior. You've got a very unique car there and I do love Gentian Blue, was a colour I was seriously considering at one point.

Great write up on the performance and drive, makes me even more impatient for mine. I had the pleasure of being loaned a Targa 4S for a long weekend by my dealer and I just didn't want to hand it back. Sublime performance and a GTS is even more!

Enjoy in good health smile

So I’m 2 weeks away from factory collection in Zuffenhausen, after ordering in August 2021… We’ve just realised the sales agent at Porsche locally made a mistake with the spec ??. Without pointing fingers, at all, it seems Porsche Deutschland are discouraging the -10mm PASM setup. The standard PASM apparently consists of the same setup, minus the helper springs and 4 lowered springs, as far as I’m being told the setup is otherwise identical. Can anyone confirm this for me?

The OPC are looking into ways to fix the issue, perhaps retro fitting the springs and helper springs, maybe approved tuning parts. Either way they are promising to make me happy, and now I’m dealing with the sales manager (who unlike others is happy to put his promises in writing…) I do trust that this will be a happy outcome.

Very excited for the factory collection, and the road trip south to the Black Forest planned right after… The road from Baden Baden to Freudenstadt is epic. I’m taking along one of the guys I mentor, to give him a taste of what you can achieve if you really want it. I hope he enjoys it too, we’re leaving our ladies at home!

Firstly, congratulations on your order and fantastic spec, I'm sure the Zuffenhausen experience is going to be extra special. If I resided in Germany, it would be a no brainer for me too. I'm UK based and even I've considered it, but chickened out in the end as I want to have my car PPF'd by a specialist here in UK before I do any long drives. However, I do plan to drive to Germany in my 992 GTS once I have it and then visit the Porsche Museum and Factory.

Secondly, if I have understood your message correctly, it seems someone at your dealer wrongly specced the 'deletion of Sports PASM -10mm'. If your dealer is promising to rectify the situation for your then I'm sure they will be confident that they can sort things out. The fact that you're based in Germany may help you because you have specialist places like Manthey Racing who are official Porsche Racing partners and they could easily carry out this work for you I'm sure. Ask your dealer who would do the work and mention Manthey Racing and see what they say.

The leather looks lighter than it is in real life. I also love the ruffling which breaks it all up, with the crayon stitching, and the interior paint package which adds accents in exterior colour.

Brown roof really works.

I couldn't live with your colour scheme. headache

Exactly, this is why I mentioned someone like Manthey Racing to carry out the work, I think it is beyond a local OPC to carry out the work.

I'd be suggesting a GT3 Touring slot would go a long way to achieving such smile

Mine's down at the dealers now, however is been PPF'd & ceramic coated Monday/Tuesday next week (by a 3rd party) prior to my collection, and I'm in London working Wednesday so likely Thursday/Friday and it will be in my hands.

Off down to see it tomorrow and sort the paperwork out.

So, after a difficult morning at the OPC, we agreed a compromise on the incorrect suspension issue. Turns out fixing this back to the standard GTS setup is going to be expensive, and while I could get it, I’m likely to make a massive enemy of the dealer if I push for it. Where I am in Germany doesn’t have many OPC, and the next nearest is absolutely terrible, I want to build bridges not walls.

I’ve secured a GT3 Touring build slot, lined up for when the facelift comes out. I’m getting winter tyres including fitting, and the factory collection cost is waived. I can „suffer“ a softer GTS experience in exchange for the prospect of a GT3. Seems a fair deal.

I am also now dealing with a different sales person and the sales manager, the previous guy was absolutely useless!

I can now look forwards to the collection of my car on the 19th!

Insane amount. I've just been quoted £330 plus VAT to have my RS Spyders done by the best in my area who does an exceptional, proper, job. OPC said £600 to get them done, but no point in paying the deal, when I suspect they would use the same people I would!

In the nicest way, push them for a valuation to take the GTS off you when the GT3 is ready. Lots of people really won't like that it doesnt have the GTS suspension, but to be honest, it will be a better daily/commuter for it. On a road which doesn't have a great surface, like we're talking lots of bumps and dips, it will be much better settled and driveable. My GTS does bound around on certain roads, but I do live in the countryside!

No reason you should have any risk to you for something which is their mistake?

I would have been happy with what’s been offered so far.
Maybe I am easy to please.

I guess those wheels have been painted afterwards as currently no factory option to have them in silver right?

For those of you who have taken delivery recently or are about to, have your cars arrived on time, earlier or later than originally quoted? If earlier or later, then by how much? Thanks.
Could have been refinished or just swapped for Turbo alloys I suppose.

Re delivery, I get mine next week, so early May. At time of securing the build slot I was told it was a March build slot for April delivery, so maybe delayed a month.
Re delivery mine was running about two months over . Did the April shutdown actually happen? Seems like quite a few GTS’s arriving recently ?
