How would you spec your 992 GTS?

I envy you. Looks epic. I’m still without allocation but when it finally arrives, I will be ticking the high gloss pack. I think it looks epic having finally seen it in the flesh at my OPC.
I was fortunate enough to also take their demo out and confirm that I will require FAL else getting up the drive will require taking the car up at an angle….
The wait goes on….
My car was sat next to another without the gloss black back at the OPC. From my perspective the centre lock turbo wheels look so much better gloss than satin finish. I’m very pleased I spec’d it now.I was fortunate enough to also take their demo out and confirm that I will require FAL else getting up the drive will require taking the car up at an angle….

Does anyone know if speed blue deviated stitching is close enough to shark blue?
Has anyone tried to get replicate the GTS pack with shark blue?
Apparently it is the same colour (there is a thread on rennlist where the 'personalisation & accessories manager' of Porsche North American confirmed this).Has anyone tried to get replicate the GTS pack with shark blue?

The Mrs has just seen shark blue in the flesh… and she actually prefers it Guards or Carmine now… but is keen to replicate the GTS package hence the question. I know the dials won’t be possible but stitching and belts can be done.
But is it too much blue? Perhaps just do the seat belts and go extender leather/racetex.

ive gone for speed yellow deviated stitching on my Signal yellow car, I also replicated the GTS packs, but didnt go for the seatbelts or finals, as the only option was racing yellow, which is a lot brighter, so I stuck to just the stitching.
I tried to go for the air vents coloured too, like in my 991.2, but Porsche for some reason wouldnt allow it with the PTS paint.

So I am going down this worm hole too. My initial spec is recreating the GTS pack with extended race-tex, extra carbon pack but with Shark Blue belts and Speed blue stitching, coupled with white dials.Has anyone tried to get replicate the GTS pack with shark blue?
I took this photo in my local OPC when we were discussing it. The panel on the left is Shark Blue and the pad on the right is the speed blue fabric colour. They look pretty similar to me. I see someone else on here suggests that they may be the same thing which is entirely possible as the colour would look different in fabric vs painted exterior material. I don't know if i could tell the difference tbh.
I've got all the red GTS belts and stuff at the moment so want a change. I still have yonks to lock my spec!

They should allow blue and even maybe yellow to be standard GTS interior combinations. On the GT3 they do red, silver and shark stitching as a single tick box. I’d bet the crayon/silver and shark/speed look the same against black leather. I took this photo in my local OPC when we were discussing it. When do you take ownership of the new car?

The car was completed last week so will be picking up in the next few weeks when i’m back in the UK (will post a photo of the interior and belts with the carbon options)
Again, its all personal taste, but I think coloured seatbelts (especially the more lairy ones) don't look right when actually in use.
They look great when the car is not being used, as blend in to some degree, but when your driving then to me they distract, in the same was as the options to have elements of the interior painted in the exterior colour. Again a big 'no no' for me.

I had red belts which were standard on an AMG which i wouldn’t have ever selected given the choice, but honestly you completely forget about them while driving and generally in the car. I’ll have the crayon ones as part of the GTS interior so I’m not stressed about it. Distract? but when does one ever see the seat belt when driving?!! even in peripheral vision one doesn't. If you are looking down that much then I feel there are bigger issues at play.

I suspect you are right at the 'issues', and you may want to go get them checked out if you are unable to see a bright blue strap which goes over your shoulder and across your chest in your peripheral vision If you are looking down that much then I feel there are bigger issues at play.

Disappointing news from my dealer today. They messaged in early February to say I was 6th on the list for the C2 GTS. I went to the PEC day last week so chased up today and was told I'm now 5th on the list. So moved 1 place in 4 months. At that rate I'll get the car in another 20 months having placed my deposit in December last year.
What's frustrating is reading about someone else who placed an order in December and is due to have their car in July. Different dealer, but how does that work?

Because the 'list' is not a set list. If a better customer (no offence you know what I mean) walks in and asks for a GTS they will get one before you. What's frustrating is reading about someone else who placed an order in December and is due to have their car in July. There’s a big difference between the £5k intention to buy and the signed order awaiting a build slot, then the actual build slot with your firm order. I don’t count the first stage as part of the time line as others have said the “list” is very flexible.
