Didnt fancy waiting for the facelift next year?
Rumour has it the 4.0 non aspirated is being fitted instead of the turbo presently fitted? Not sure which models though.

Not a facelift on the GTS for at least another 2 years. Even if I were to try and get a facelift 4s I’ll be 15+ in the queue.

Facelift 992 certainly due, but not the GTS yet, which I think is what people above are saying.

I have an order in for another Targa GTS which is likely 18 months away currently, although if economy goes as suggested I suspect it will end up being sooner as people pull out. The dealer said he thought it would be hybrid for the Gen2, which I quite fancy to be honest, so will likely push my order back to that if its the case.

I think they will release the gts at the same time, they did on the Macan.
And let's be realistic they,ve only got 7 years left to sell them .
They reckon factories will be switched to ev production by 2028 as demand will outstrip ice vehicles

The GTS model is always the last model of the current Gen. If you want the latest greatest, don’t buy a GTS! For me wanted something a bit more ‘special’, not allowed a GT product so here I am.

Whats not to like tbh…but placed a new order for a new Cab GTS to hedge my bets…

Obviously nothing not too like , i like the idea of the 4.0 in it though.
Just wondering if your build date wasnt till next year would you get the 2023 model?

My dealer said historically Porsche would discontinue GTS production upon release of Gen 2, but the GTS would then be the run out model again… Who knows, why would you make 2 different Gens on the same production line. Maybe they will extend the current gen production or bring out the Gen 2 GTS straight away. They can only make so many 911’s a year, subject to parts supply they have full order books and can build what they like and supply any market they choose…

Thats could either be great or annoying.
Some of the changes could be great others not so.
What would happen if the colour you chose was discontinued?

I hope that the ‘sloth-eyes’ fog lights are a decoy on a mule-car and will disappear in final model.

I am waiting for 992.2 C2S … BUT I would take 992 GTS in a heartbeat! Also, GTS holds value better.

I didn't get an allocation with the 22 year model, luckily my colour choice was not affected with the 2023 model changes. You would have to pick another colour.

I think its a case of just enjoy your vehicles at the moment as who knows what the future holds?
Interest rates are a big worry and already prices are struggling.
In 2030 who knows what a ice vehicles will be worth? Will they wanted , yes of course , but will the tax be the real killer?
Enjoy whilst you can and dont worry about future values.

Lovely, 3 weeks is a bit of a wait for PPF. Is yours a 23 model and did you opt 18way? Is your steering adjustment manual?

Now that the cold weather has arrived, the passenger door has started to rattle around the grate behind the door pull, common looking online. Currently I have a 2" rubber ball pushed between the pull and the grate and it all but eliminates it, but not a good look..
I know its under warranty, but My experience of Dealers with these issues, is "sorry we can't hear it sir" or broken clips with 10 more rattles..

Has anyone taken the door card off to sort this themselves? Youtube videos look straight forward, am I missing something?
