What does everyone put in petrol wise. Is Tesco Momentum a good choice - I have a station that's local so this would be my preference?

Interesting video, thanks for posting.

Due to proximity, it's either Shell V-Power or Esso 99 Supreme for me.

I am due to go on a road trip to Ireland next month, and my understanding is they only have 95 RON over there. Should I be thinking about Octane Booster or just let the car's ECU adapt to 95 RON while I'm over there?

Anyone else keep getting their production pushed back?

Mine was meant to complete production in December. Then end of Jan. Then start of Feb. Then end of Feb now middle of April. Annoying to say the least.

My sales guy said he cannot find out why...
Yes, same issue here. Probably a combination of parts shortages and production scheduling changes, but nobody really knows..!
Out of the blue, I got a call today to say that my gts cab has a build date in May with delivery June.

Wonder if it shall actually be ready for collection then?!

It was indicated that the T I have ordered would if arrived well before the GTS, so possible I have been allocated a cancelled order build spot.
I’m also waiting on a cab slot. Albeit I’ve “only” been waiting since Sept 22. What spec are you going for out of interest?
Crayon, black with red stitching, logos and calipers, pdk, rear steer and bose.

What spec have you gone for?

What spec have you gone for?
RAS, extended race tex, Bose (for resale smile), electric mirrors, alloy fuel cap, heated racetex steering wheel, crested console cover,
I’ve always been a sucker for stripes, so, clearly it’s going to have them! Not sure re colour - guards red or shark blue are front runners meantime!

I think I'm gonna sell mine. The incoming Tacan along with the incoming hip replacement means most of my driving will be in something a bit less low to the ground for a while. 41 years old and falling to bits, me not the 911 haha!

I keep getting told the glass sunroof is a must (for resale). I’ve opted to go without as I much prefer the cleaner look. Looking at the classifieds it’s around a 70:30 split in favour of. I personally don’t mind it on a dark coloured car but not a fan on lighter cars, mine being Carmine red.

i didnt care for the odd coloured parts either,
but just extended leather with racetex on its own gets the black brushed alloy trim, which would be cheapest and properly looks better than the plastic carbon,
or you can spec the no cost leather trim which comes with whitesilver alloy trim
Just back from the detailer - Interior shot of the racetex with extended leather for those interested.

Just heard mine is finally built and in transit to the port.

Does anyone know roughly how long from now until its with the dealer?

Has anybody specced their GTS with the softer PASM setup? I had a 992S with the lowered sports suspension, is that the same stiffness as a GTS with the standard sports setup?

No, the 992 GTS is a bit stiffer than a 992 Carrera S with Sports PASM -10mm. Is because the GTS in Coupe and Cab form gets the 992 Turbo spec suspension/chassis and the helper springs you get in Turbo/GT3. Hence it is a stiffer and sportier ride, albeit not GT3 level stiffness.

So if you select the GTS PASM option (e.g. delete -10) does that setup the car the same as a Carrera S on its standard suspension?

Depends really whether it’s been completely built. Cars are shipped to the port - Emden - even if they have some minor parts missing- to free up space at the factory. If it’s really fully built then it should cross to the UK within a couple of weeks to either Sheerness or Grimsby depending upon where your dealer is. If there are bits missing (like mine had) it may be several weeks longer at Emden. From Sheerness or Grimsby to dealer should be a week or less.

Either I'm getting old or the roads are getting a lot worse than they used to be, but this option makes a whole lot of sense to me.

I was wanting to order a GTS for delivery early next year, but it's looking like production stops this year...

Just had a go on the Swiss configurator for fun. No more PCCB option for the GTS it seems. I'm sure it was an option the last time I specced a GTS for fun a couple of weeks ago.

I added the delete -10 to my GTS 4 Cab, build May 23, due end Jun 23. I read a lot and even, Autocar I think, said delete -10 on Turbo as UK roads are too rough. I am still not quite sure it will be 100% standard S suspension though. I think it adds back 10, deletes the helper springs, but is like an S with the -10 PASM option.

Just had confirmation that my GTS cab shall not be subject to the price increase but the T shall as its not locked in yet.

It was going to add near £10k to the cab otherwise.

At least the T was about £25k cheaper...havn't checked to see what that increases to yet.

Reassuring.

As I commented earlier my OPC said once I signed the factory order the price was fixed. To be clear to all when I first put down my deposit in Dec 22 this was an order, but no build date. In Mar 23 the OPC offered me the build in May 23 and once spec was finalised the order was resent to me for signature and build locked in the Porsche system. Following this the OPC then gave me the breakdown from their system of the schedule of build and delivery (V220 Delivery Date Confirmed, V250 Vehicle locked in production 5 May, etc. etc ending with exit Sheerness 26 Jun.)

I thought you were based in Germany? Therefore why would your car be existing Sheerness?

Or have you bought the car from a UK OPC?
