PTS Colour Choice

What happened to the other thread from February? Thought you'd picked a colour..
No not yet - still hasn’t locked - this thread started out as a plea to find anyone with a physical car in any of the colours on the short list that I could see in real life, rather than a “which colour do you like” thread. However, it seems to have turned into the later, which is great - always nice to hear what people think My Forest Green GT3 Touring has just arrived but I'm afraid it would be a bit hard for you to view as I am in New Zealand. I have been trying to get some good photos of it but the colour is very hard to capture, I will probably need to get a pro to take some.
I think you should definitely not get Forest Green though, so then less people have it. In all seriousness it is an amazing colour and I am very happy with it. There are a number of resources online now which are helpful but I don't think they really capture colours properly, I have a Gentian Blue, Adventurine Green and Forest Green vehicle now and they don't really look like most websites show. The best thing is using actual photos of real life cars but even that isn't perfect, which is why I understand you are trying to see some with your own eyes. When researching myself (I spent a lot of time on this) I used Instagram a lot which you can use to search for people who have hashtagged with the colour options. I also used a thread on Rennlist which I can't find now where someone went to a centre (in the US I believe) that specialised in PTS and they had all the colour samples. The person photographed a number of options side by side including a lot of the greens, that helped a lot.
In the end for me I chose Forest because it is the most true green, leaning to a smidge of blue-green. Oak Green is more of a golden hued green and Olive a black hued green. I also didn't want to do Oak because it is quite on trend now and I try and avoid that. In general green is on trend but that's what I wanted so oh well.

I approve of this thread - quite fond of Rainforest Green, never seen it on a newer 911. If you ask nicely you can match the interior to your dog!

all the PTS colours are now viewable in the UK configurator and the images will show the actual colour (unlike before when it just turned it green).
If I select PTS it just turns the car black? I can't find any PTS options other than the tick box to select the option, this is for a GT3 Touring.I was also told this week that ceramics should be available from July but no PTS or EM leather interior at the moment. I supposedly have an August build.
Anyone else heard similar?

Doesn’t on the 911 for me either, does on the 718 though oddly.I was also told this week that ceramics should be available from July but no PTS or EM leather interior at the moment. I supposedly have an August build.

This is my car. This green is called Underberg Green, solid paint. As people say, in different light it looks very different. This colour falls somewhere inbetween British Racing Green and Brewster Green. It was my choice without ever seeing one in the metal and I'm really pleased with it. And I have never seen another in the UK yet. But picking a colour is very personal and subjective. The OP wants a metallic I think, so maybe not for him.Joscal said:

Glass of wine, take away dinner and a screen casting session to the big telly to look at PTS colours that I thought I’d already decided on. That’s my evening sorted.
