Well, can you Adam and Eve it, here we are again at the start of another year.

We had a bit of a mixed bag of meet ups last year, whilst the attendance at C&M was great, I think we were let down by some of the mechanics of the ordering process, and there was a VERY unfortunate incident in the car park involving some s on mopeds doing donuts on the gravel - Thankfully this was after we'd all gone.

We then had a bit of a false start on what should have been the summer solstice meet, again - issues with the venue put paid to that...

So.. Here we are in 2023. Lots of crap still going in the world and the weather is currently pants so we all need something good to look forward to, right?

While I'm still pulling the final details together I thought I'd put this thread out there, so that there's something for people to talk about other than: YT Flippers, Unavailability of options, Finance figures and delayed deliveries...

The Date will be SATURDAY 25th March
The location will be somewhere around the Cotswolds-ish

Yes its a Saturday this year, I usually do the last Sunday before the clocks change to make the most of the early sunrise, but the Sunday before is Mothers day and I'm not about to be responsible for people getting into trouble for messing with the actual most important day in the year.

I'll start a table in the next couple of days but this is your 'keep the date' post
Same as before - It'd be great to get as many GT"x" cars out as we can... I know that there have been a few 997 4.0RS's that changed hands last year - so it'd be nice to see those.. anyone that facies mixing it up with a CGT - that would be great. but everyone's welcome... because we're nice like that.

Are GT "S"s allowed? If so, I might turn up in my 992 GTS.

No problem if not...

Well my 987 Spyder will prob be there as well… so.. yeah.

I just need to check if I’ve got to apply a cap on numbers and then I’ll run up an attendance tracker

Good shout and count me in, either in an early 911 or GT3. Thanks for organising.

If I have the GT3 back by then, I'm in. So far, it's had two sets of brand new shocks on since last meet.... banghead

Otherwise, I guess attending in a Taycan Cross Turismo is taking the piss? biggrin

When don't you take the piss? - biggrin

Just put GT3 and bring whatever on the day... I'm going to have to work out moving cars around the country before March otherwise only the A6 is available so If I cant do that, I'll be in Audi!

I'm secretly hoping that my '69 Beetle is ready so I can bring that!! but don't tell anyone..

My first car was a 69 Beetle. Loved it, as did many female friends.

Will come along if my GT3's finally arrived by March.
