Older stuff seems better and better all the time.
Older stuff is better. Smaller, lighter, less annoying driver aids, sound better etc etcBeyond me why anyone would buy a new Carrera…I guess that partly explains why OPC’s have new 992.2’s sat in their showroom looking for a home

I suspect a lot of traditional 911 buyers are growing less interested in ‘faster’ and ‘more technology’.
As said above, the older models can, and often do, deliver purer enjoyment.
If I wanted a 992.2 it would need to be a base/manual, with a just a few sensible options, and a cautious eye on weight.

This morning I was wringing the neck of a Renaultsport Twingo 133 Cup car ... a max of 55mph in second and it was just magic on our country roads ...
(If Porsche made a micro car ?)
I guess there’s always new buyers coming along who always wanted a 911.
It’s certainly a problem when existing customers get a bit disillusioned…l fear a lot of cars have gone past the tipping point with petrol heads.
I wouldn’t know where to start with the detrimental stuff…ok weight !!
It pisses me off when journalists say the engineers have successfully “hidden” the weight - that’s nonsense…
Sporting BMWs being a prime example- u couldn’t tell they weigh 50000 tonnes…u fecking well can!

This just popped up
I enjoyed this video. Surprised it has only just been released, but good to see he's a fan of the new tech. I've just been invited to drive a GTS on a Porsche Experience - this will be my second one since I ordered my GTS (the first obviously in the 992.1 GTS). Perhaps they are worried about customers pulling out of their orders?

I’ve noticed that.
Doesn’t seem to offer much over the 992.1.
Certainly not a fan of the ‘tech heavy’ new Hybrid GTS - backed up by Harry Metcalfe’s recent video.
No lag is quite a difference imo , I would absolutely buy a 992.2 gts over the previous version were it not so stupidly priced .Doesn’t seem to offer much over the 992.1.

Wasn't Harry's video - 2 years ago - of the 992.1 GTS, as opposed to the new 992.2 GTS T-Hybrid..? Happy to be corrected.Doesn’t seem to offer much over the 992.1.
