PCNA Centrelock recall
Discussion
Seems like the affected production weeks has been revised down again, so more good news, unless you were planning on trying to rinse money out of Porsche…lol

Are no longer impacted, although cars with parts in those weeks will still need to be physically inspected and then processed for removal of the recall campaign, from the cars record.

Hi All, Update as promised, my Turbo S was collected on Thursday afternoon and I picked it up with the new centre lock ‘nuts’ fitted on Friday. I’ll try and post a pic. Centre locks are marked “Centrelock lll” First one to be fixed by my OPC, who are prioritising based on usage I.e. Daily drives first, in storage for the winter last.
What was "goodwill" package offered after repair & return of your car? Heard conflicting offershttps://youtu.be/ARicsgz2pSQ?si=8sPx-ja0Rfe-jiGx
This guys getting 3 months of finance payment and a lump sum of money on top. Wow. I really doubt that’s happening for everyone

"If on finance half the payment per month. If not on finance up to £1k per month". That's what they told me.
Not overly generous if it's accurate.
£1k a month won’t even get you into a base Macan, with a sensible deposit, so how on earth have they worked that out?Not overly generous if it's accurate.
If that’s what they’re seriously offering, we need to get together and involve solicitors.

Should be at least £2,500pm. My 991.1 GT3 was compensated at £1,500pm 11 years ago when it was off the road with a chocolate engine. And it was half the base price of my 992 turbo S. Think I'll be asking them to sharpen the pencil.
Different scenario for our 991.1 GT3s 10 years ago. Porsche had no option to offer reasonable if not generous compensation following the class action we took over the engine issues.deto911 said:

Why has he stated he,s not allowed to disclose lump sum ? Porsche,s dealing with this is awful, l have a 2024 gt3rs off the road now for a month, no updates or contact from porsche unless you Chase them & are then fobbed off until you call next time. No idea what porsche customer service actually do apart from saying they,ll get your dealer to call you shortly which doesnt happen. For a premium product the after care is shocking. I've no loan car as I told them to shove the Volvo estate i was offered, was then informed i was top priority to get a loan 911 which again was garbage, no car, no contact. It appears impossible to get straight answers. Is it fact all customers are to receive £1000 per month ? Is this with or without loan car? No one seems to be able to answer this question This guys getting 3 months of finance payment and a lump sum of money on top. Wow. I really doubt that’s happening for everyone

I agree. My experience with the supplying OPC and my local one has been the same as yours (apart from the local one dropping off a trickle charger at my request). Porsche GB have been equally useless, just referring back to the OPC. I see Richard Hammond’s Turbo S has been affected - he mentioned it multiple times in his recent Purosangue review SJMW said:
Had a call from my OPC (Bristol) yesterday - mine are being replaced on Wednesday
We called Bristol yesterday, they had no update on ours! Can I ask, who are you dealing with there again? Also, when they collect your car do you know if they are going to collect it on a covered transporter or just a standard trailer? If it's a standard trailer, are you happy with that? Also, did they offer you a courtesy car while yours was unavailable? And....have they offered you any compensation yet?
Sorry for all the questions - I'm quite disappointed with the communication from Bristol at the moment.

Richard Hammond gets a loan Ferrari because he has a voice & the rest of us get messed around, it appears the select customers of each dealership get looked after & given a 911 till their cars fixed & the rest of us commoners are offered a volvo & then ignored if you object. I have a near 300k piece of kit that cant be used & they couldn't care less. Unless you,re in the gang you,re getting nowhereJ_Dreamer said:

I’ve dealt with Anthony. He’s tried to be helpful and dropped round the trickle charger but has pleased ignorance on parts availability/comp etc. I’m going to take mine there myself as I’m close by (before anyone comments, I know the risk/insurance etc). They say they’ll need it for a couple of days ‘to do all the necessary checks’ - hmmm. No courtesy car offered (and nothing offered since ‘grounded’ - promises to look into it and reference to Enterprise but when I said I wanted like for like they went quiet). No discussion yet re compensation - let’s see. I know some of the OPC people read these threads so they should be aware they risk turning potential brand ambassadors into the opposite - though they may not care. I’d have thought given the state of the market and the VAG group’s wider woes it would serve them well to deal with this situation generously to retain goodwill. Discount days are back and the financing deals on the electric stuff are hardly attractive Also, did they offer you a courtesy car while yours was unavailable? As much as I love my 911, this whole situation stinks, and I keep thinking should I just reject the car, and get something else? Some are getting their cars fixed, most of us haven’t heard a thing. I’ve saved for a long time to get this car, and it’s just a static ornament, so I’m questioning why I even have it.
