PCNA Centrelock recall

Personally don't understand why people think they are entitled to that.
I agree that is probably excessive depending upon the circumstance, in the same way that I think that benefits with the OPC are worth more than money, but £1000 compared to the likely £3000 value of two months off the road is just not fair to my Yorkshire values. In fact, I think it's taking the p*ss and potentially breeds recourse to more serious actions ... ??Not everybody "doesn't use their cars" at this time of year ... it is an unreasonable expectation even if it may be an amelioration for some ...

I've yet to see any benefit of centre locks.
That's because for road cars, there are no functional benefits and only downsides. It's pure cargo culting of race cars where there's a use case for being able to very quickly change your wheels during a race. And as far as I know, the centrelocks on Cup cars are different from the road cars.
There's one aesthetic benefit - they look cool and create an association with race cars, that's about it.

Had "normal" wheels for the last 3 911's so I fancied a change as they looked nice. Plus easier to get the hand in to wash them And as far as I know, the centrelocks on Cup cars are different from the road cars.
