That's interesting. I've never driven a 991RS but I've had a 991 Gt3 and that wasn't a patch on any of the previous GT3s. It's on Dunlop tyres, not sure if the Michelins feel any different or not.

I find the 981 Spyder steering to be not far behind the GT4. Most of the loss of feel could well be more down to the Pirellis v Dunlop Maxx and GT3 front suspension anyway.991 GT3 steering slightly behind the GT4.

Compared to what? In the 987 Spyder I remember having to really push hard on the brakes. It been mentioned before but this used to be a Porsche 'thing' that the breaks needed to some effort. Several forum threads have said how modern Porsche have for more assistance. So if you are coming from an older Porsche then yes I think you would find them over assisted, if you are coming from something else then who knows Something that has been mentioned a few times in this (and other) threads, about the Spyder, is that it is 'over braked'.

Talking of steering feel, is your NSX PAS or not? I had an early car, non PAS. Horrible steering. Required way too much input mid corner to keep it on line. Seems to me that there will be a sweet spot for steering, being hydraulic PAS.Anyway I went out for a blat today and enjoyed myself, despite the non existent steering and brake feel :-)

Mine is non PAS and does require some effort. But back in '91 I came from a 930 turbo, in comparison the NSX's steering was as light as a feather!

I don't think it was just the weight. It's the weight combined with the gearing, which requires the extra input mid bend. Anyway, destined to become classics.

Now you see here I was, as content in my car choices (Spyder and Abarth), than I have been for many years and then someone goes and posts a link to a reasonably priced (Subjective I know!) icon.
