Sorry, but if you going to make a forceful point, please make sure you know what you are talking about. Misted up windows has very little to do with dirt, but is directly related to temperature and relative humidity. As a previous contributor stated, A/C removes moisture from the air, thereby clearing it more quickly.

I just think if you have a clean windscreen normal blowers clear it no issue from experience.(I am a trade professional) :-)
if you have a one with road film on it they take some demisting.

As much as it pains me to agree with 911R this matches my experiences; the film that builds up on interior glass from the gases given off by the interior as the car ages combined with fine dust that make it through the pollen filter promotes the windows to mist up more/sooner than clean glass. Front and rear screens seem to be affected much more than side windows?if you have a one with road film on it they take some demisting.

You should be happy to support my findings after a million miles and 74 cars, knowing you are right and fighting the 95% people who say you are wrong.
This line happens a lot on PH

Driving mine in damp drizzly conditions this morning and air con cleared mist 2 or 3 times in 10 - 15 seconds (I never normally use it) and my screen is NOT dirty. My understanding is that mist is caused by water condensing onto colder glass when the humidity is high. I did survive 10 years in an Elise without aircon but if given the choice it seems good to have to me. Hot days in traffic can be a nightmare in a soft top too.
Drivers managed with misted screens and hot days long before air con became common in cars. It's still possible but I've learned the value of air con, to me.
Next March, my 987 Spyder will have a 3,000 mile trip in the heat of a New Zealand Summer. That will include four track days where I will wear a race suit. It will also mean early drives in alpine areas where breath condenses on the windscreen. To me air con is vital. Others evidently don't agree.
BTW: Is there a 987 Spyder blog or thread on actually driving these cars? The spec discussion appears to dominate here. Not sure why.

I want to know what Khushy thinks. That man is an absolute legend. Daily Driver with over 116,000 miles. Imagine, a Spyder that’s actually used on a regular basis. I hope his spec is right, otherwise it’s all been for naught. /sarc
Morning, as this thread is 413 pages long - what do I think of what? Lols116,500 and still going strong in all weathers all conditions - if it’s dry the top is off - this year, it’s having some extra tlc - go faster stripes, it’s first ever wheel refurb, 100mm exhaust tips and hopefully (if I can find the right specialist) new oem suspension all round + some leather care
:-)
I did 10k miles in 12 months in mine, was an absolute blast. Finished ownership with a road trip to Stuttgart then Lake Garda before catching the start of the Mille Miglia at Brescia. Then down to Florence and Siena (to see the return leg of arrive in the Piazza del Campo) before heading to the Italian Riviera. Last leg was over the alps, a short break near Chamonix and then home.
Will never forget the car (WM10VWA), or the trip, or the year leading up to that enjoying my Spyder every day. Some get driven, it’s a real shame they all don’t.

How does the car cope with the salted roads? The first task when my car arrives is to pull the under panels and give it a complete clean and replace any corroded parts. 116,500 and still going strong in all weathers all conditions - if it’s dry the top is off - this year, it’s having some extra tlc - go faster stripes, it’s first ever wheel refurb, 100mm exhaust tips and hopefully (if I can find the right specialist) new oem suspension all round + some leather care
