well should get my car back next week from having a bit of work done, inc full wheel refurb. Seeing all the Spyders & Caymans R's that are being posted, im toying with the idea of putting some Black Porsche side decals on my Basalt Cayman. The wheels will come back in OB5 Silk Platinum, same as the Spyder wheel colour. Just looking for opinions.

pics of said car pre-wheel colour change.

cheers everyone driving

Personally, no. Just looks damned classy in black. If anything I'd black out or remove the Cayman badge on the boot...

I am not a big lover of non original decals, but the cayman R ones are really smart and fairly subtle.

After 18 months with mine, I'm still not sure whether I prefer it with the factory fitted decals or whether I should remove them.

I think the side decals look good (but may be biased as I have a Spyder).

Another option would be to go for a Design Edition effect:

Obviously the above Design Edition side decals are very naff but the Porsche writing could look good if you use the same effect

Im really liking the Spyder, have yet to see one on the road. Would not mind getting a look at one
Yep Im thinking Porsche writing in black, so it does not shout out too loud.
May give it a try, can always remove them if they ruin the look of the car

Love mine.....

Albeit not a boxster or Cayman. Think they look lovely if done correctly.

I wouldn't have picked them if buying new, but when I saw this I thought they looked superb! Really striking.

My RS60 came with them and I can't decide whether I like them or not although most of the time they are subtle. When I discovered the price of them I decided to keep them on and let the next owner decide what they want to do.

I think that's a bit too much, what with the domain name down the side as well.
