Hi all, my Boxster bought from a non Porsche dealer has developed a fault on the key actuation. . Sometimes it locks sometimes it doesn't. Yes, I've changed the battery in the key.
Swansway, the dealer, have ascertained its beyond their capability to investigate (its under their warranty). The only local guy I have heard of is Tony. Is he still in business, if so anyone for a phone number and an address? Swansway will pay under the terms of the warranty, but its needs the specialist diagnostics they don't have.

I'm sure you'll find him via Google. He usually deals with older cars as far as I know though, so in case he can't do it try Sports and Classic in Knutsford, who have the kit & can definitely do all key coding etc
