Woah! that looks awesome! I wasn't sure about the colour, just loved the spec, but your image really does show the Yellow far better. Thanks
Do you have PDK / Manual?
Mines pdk too. I also have the X73 chassis, the ride is surprisingly good. Trust me, you'll love it!!!

Well my car will have its third birthday soon. I have only covered 9k, mainly trouble free with the exception of two dynamic engine mounts which had to be replace. I'm told the cost would have been approximately £700 plus fitting.
Now I could have just been unlike as I don't know if others have had similar problems?
The decision I'm currently pondering is whether to renew my warranty or keep a slush fund.
I haven't and won't be taking the car on track.

Anybody fancy a set of lightly used Michelin Pilot Super Sports to fit their 20" cayman or boxster gts?
Plenty of fun to be had with them yet! I would be happy with £275 for the lot. Can deliver around the greater London or Milton Keynes areas.
I'm selling my car back to Porsche and they would like me to fit N0 tyres before they take it. Sadly the car I'm buying takes a different size otherwise I would keep 'em. I don't really want to advertise on eBay etc and would rather someone who wants to drive their car takes them off my hands...

When I reverse and then put the car back into neutral in the box, if I go for 1st, the box more often than not puts me back into reverse. That's with me applying no downward pressure usually required to engage reverse. Has anyone had this as its a bit annoying and might one day catch me out?
Anyone know if it is possible to get a touch-up paint that matches the grey on the brake disks?
Must have picked up a stone between the calliper and disk at some point and scratched off a small line of paint on one disk bell. Not bad enough to want to repaint the disk completely, but a simple fix if I could find an exact paint match.

Same here, ourBGTS has suffered a failed dynamic engine mount after a fairly spirited drive got the message "PADM disabled, service required driving permitted" . Portsmouth confirmed new mount required. With the complexity of these cars and the cost of putting anything right I have never hesitated to put on the extended warranty when the new car one expires - call it peace of mind!!Now I could have just been unlike as I don't know if others have had similar problems?

I finally got myself one of these dream machines....absolutely stunning to drive, I love the throttle response and the way the revs build....addictive.
The sports plus mode, normally badly judged in for road cars, is absolutely usable in the GTS......I'm now thinking I should have gone for the sports chassis, but that just gives me something to look forward too next time, when I will go for the manual with that low chassis.
I did drive a 718 S to see what it was like, but that engine was a deal breaker, awful, just as in the F80 M3.
I regret not ordering a new GTS when they come out, I just never considered them or knew what they really were....the old hairdresser's car with a roof got in the way.
I think I'll go for another drive now....

Congrats on the new car!I quoted your above statement as a guy I know with an older Boxster said to me recently, "I thought the way people were going on [I assume I've been spoken about in social circles!] you must have bought a new one - not a used one". I took that to mean either he was a touch 'green' that I had a 'better car than him' or that he really didn't get what the GTS was. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and assumed it was the latter.
Ironically, a 718S would have been more affordable (in basic terms) than my CGTS was, but that noise, that engine, that interior...I'm even a bigger fan of the looks of the CGTS than the standard 718/718S. It will be interesting to see what treatment they apply to the styling for the 718GTS. I think the 718 gen cars look a little 'soft' compared to the CGTS - that's not to say bad - just a little less aggressive/sporty/purposeful.
I even test drove and considered a couple of 991.1S cars, but whilst they underwhelmed, the CGTS left me grinning from ear to ear. My understanding is that the 991.2 steering is a lot better, so perhaps it's something to consider in the future, but all in all....

Thank you, we're very much on the same wavelength with this! The GTS is a sensational car to drive and I can't imagine ever getting bored with it. Even my wife is smitten with it.I quoted your above statement as a guy I know with an older Boxster said to me recently, "I thought the way people were going on [I assume I've been spoken about in social circles!] you must have bought a new one - not a used one". One thing I've realised is how it can be enjoyed without the worry of jail time and evening love ins with Bubba....it's utterly addictive.
The chassis is incredible and would easily handle more power, but that would spoil this wonderful recipe.
How lovely it is to have such a sharp throttle response and to hear the noise build to a crescendo.
If only I'd known....
