My BGTS was due the 4yr service in November with all items included from the OP’s list plus air con service which is recommended at 4yrs, Reading OPC was at near £1800!

Has anybody had their 4th year service on CGTS?

Got a quote from OPC at £1k inc. oil, oil filter, cabin filter, air filter, spark plug, oil brake, topup bag (no idea what is), window cleaner outer (?)

Is it good or bad? lol...
I recently had the 4 year service done on my BGTS (oil, oil filter, 2 different cabin air filters, brake fluid change and plug change plus all the inspecting/looking) for just over £800 at an OPC. If you're keen on using an OPC find a local indie and use their prices to bargain with the OPC. That's what I did and saved roughly £200.

4th year next July.

I always take my own oil in, its half the price of OPC for the same oil.

Fixed price 4 year service is £650 plus spark plugs? I might see how much Porsche charge to supply the plugs as they are less than £55, but I have heard people paying >£300 for plugs and change! Crazy.

Does this impact your warranty ? Presuming you have one, of course. I suppose if it's done by the OPC it shouldn't matter.

Nope it doesn't. Same Oil, service done by OPC.

Having servicing from none OPC but using Porsche OE parts does not impact your warranty.

I normally buy my own Mobil oil online and give it to the dealer for the service. It works out much cheaper.

Mine will be due its 4 year service in Feb / March long with its MOT, so i'll be finding out shortly what the costs will be.

I assumed it will be the fixed price service (£630.00 Inc VAT) + break fluid change (£95 inc VAT) + MOT, then any other bits it may require.

I've ended up in paying c.£80 more than your quote when you add MOT and drive belt check (30 min job), so paid c.£1k.

Better so than breaking relationship with them, they've already replaced out of warranty a £1k part completely for free and I know the service guy if I need help he'll do.

He clearly said they don't entertain with indie and their quotes.

Just ordered a 718 Cayman GTS to replace my 2016 718 Boxster.

Will be waiting until March to get a manual 'box and hopefully by then Sapphire Blue or a new similar colour is available.

Going to be a long 6months!!

That looks good, right seats and brakes. Was it a manual, if so, near perfect spec.

Many OPC’s give a 10% discount if you are a Porsche Club GB member - the only reason I remain in it as the local group is very cliquey and unwelcoming to new members so went once, were well & truly shunned and vowed as a result never to return! But the discount on servicing is 2 x membership cost so....

That looks like the car Silverstone had in their showroom back in February which had a huge spec and a corresponding eye watering price for a 718.

Car looks very well - finance display board is a lot less appealing, I don't think there's any amount of man maths that could make those numbers work. The best i could come up with is that if you paid the deposit, the 36 monthly payments and then gave it back, then it would only be about £50 odd quid a day to have the car in drive.

When I called them their original quote was 1.2k, w/o MOT and w/o drive belt check. I asked for a discount as loyal customer and they gave me 10%.

Yes it was manual but I did find it a bit notchey to use. Absolutely cracking car but still think I would’ve preferred PDK

Hey yes that’s the one it’s now four sale at £71,000 I did some detailing work for them back in July and get on very well with one of the salesman so as a extra thank you they lent me this car for four days. Proper car amazing chassis and balance. The sound was the only negative turn still not that bad.

I thought it was the same car as the spec was quite distinctive. They've had that an incredibly long time then and it looks like they also still have this 718 Cayman S that was also in the showroom in February in PTS Speed Yellow with Espresso leather and racing buckets which was also a very high price for a Cayman thanks to a massive spec. I thought they would be hard to sell as GT4's could be had for similar money.
