So people, 18 years ago I owned a stunning 964c4 in the above colour combo. I very stupidly sold it to Arlington porsche in p.ex for a 993.

And I have never seen that 964 since. Just wondering if it still exists.

It was RHD, manual and on a G plate

Anyone know of its whereabouts?

Off topic what was it like compared to the 993? I have a G50 Carrera and 964 C2 and have been offered a very nice 993.

that particular 993 was horrible. It had loads of aftermarket bits on it. I kept it for a year then got a 993 turbo. Since that time I had a 993c2s some time later.

Clearly the 993 is a more modern car, and is probably better in lots of respects. I would have a 993c2s again but not sure about a std 993 over. 964c2.

Don't think that's helped at all - it's probably been way to long since I drove them back to back.

I would have another 964c4 in a hearbeat. Loving have a 964 again at present although mine is a long term project as it needs lots of work.

I'm not sure if it's the same car but I think Rob Mugglestone (Rennlist user RobMug) used to own a 1989 C4 in those colours - It's a very rare colour so it's probably the same car and he may be able to help you track it down? He did send me a photo of it a couple of years ago but I cant find it right now. Do you have any photos?

I have a 1991 C2 in Cyclamen/Zyclamrot with cashmere/savannah leather and love it. I can understand why you miss it!

Does it say that it has been exported? A lot of RHD 964's have gone to Hong Kong, so that could explain why it's showing as not being taxed (or that it's on a private plate now).

no it doesn't say it's been exported. I also wondered exactly that - would explain why I have never seen it since.

Do an HPi check with VIN only, that'll get you the current registration if it's different, then fill out a DVLA form V888 requesting current keeper's details (£2.50 cost) stating the reason as perhaps something like it's an important car and you have some documentation that really ought to be given to the current owner.

Good idea but I don't have the VIN unfortunately. This is a car I owned donkeys years ago smile
