They do it for new car owners. If the poster above isn't the original owner of the gt4, it's not entirely surprising that the OPC isn't fitting it foc.
Exactly. I'd imagine it is pretty time consuming to fit the harness properly. At a guess the seat would come out and the harness attachments on bulkhead are a bit of a fiddle etc

Yes I've got the club sport with all the prep for harnesses. I did think it sounded pretty crazy but they claimed to have just done it for another customer and it was a massive job... i think i will take a look myself, probably give up, and then take it in to someone to do for me. But not Porsche!

Down to only 8 on the OPC network today...another new low?
That is a new low. There is still talk of a 4 cylinder car. I don't believe it but maybe the market is reacting to it?
There are also 17 on PH classifieds at other dealers or are private sales...including a nice spec buckets car that looks very attractively priced at £75K IMO.
These are great cars... had a fantastic day on track @ Silverstone National yesterday.. did some awesome laps in my car, solo and with instruction.. i really really had a go, as some will attest to....and as a passenger with ChrisW.
You have to be ninja master level to NEED more car on track that one of these....fast, stable, bombproof.....for the laps with Chris - nothing came past us and we went past everything .2 GT3s, .1 RSs included, and the beauty is that you can use all of the performance and feel like you are really extracting as much as you can from the the car and yourself... great fun.
Just goes to show if you are a craftsman with the right tool you are untouchable..... what a great platform.
The new one will need to be spectacular to raise the game on the 981 GT4.

Yep. Car for the summer, there'll be loads for sale at the end of year ready for the new one next spring.
Mine won't be one of those for sale because as TDT says above the current one is everything I need from a fun road/track car. I'm also realistic that I won't get offered a new one and to be honest that's a bun fight that I don't want to get involved in. GT4P said:
Very easy to see why there is so few for sale now , what other manual Porsche to is worth buying under £100k that's less than 7 years old!! Yes I know 981 spyder before some one mentions!
997 GTS with a manual box and rwd is worthy of consideration...not a GT car but the standard fit powerkit gives the engine a really nice rewarding top end and works brilliantly with the manual box. Chassis is also a great set up for real world driving. Not a GT car but very popular and sell quickly when they are listed anywhere near £70k. I'd also say a Cayman GTS in the right spec is a fantastic car too.
