In fairness my car was the bargain of the century at £88 vs the comp - as you know OPC bought it well smile
So was mine for the same reason, point was both our cars sold in ultra fast time and were not £75k cars.

People will pay for the spec , and I have always paid top money for the right car.

Nothing for sale to touch my car under £87k atm people talk doom and gloom over prices but they look as strong as ever to me, I would not be able to afford to buy a car of my spec back.

Mine looked better value over yours even. Some ones got a very nice spec and looked after bargain 1 owner car. I wish them well with it, I hope my next car allows me to break even over all or be up a bit which would be nice, helps pay for the road TAX and binned p zero's and Dunlop’s lol.
All good - really hoping this means you’re in with a shout for something interesting smile

Are you saying an opc sold your car for 88k and you sold it for a lot less?

Have to agree cars are often cheap for a reason. If consumables like tyres and brakes are more worn might be further cheapened.

Ref to Tim / Schmee old car is high mileage and somehow looks a little plain especially inside, paint is a touch tired looking too. Their yellow one is much better spec AND condition. That said blue looks like seriously good value now though.

Hoping prices don’t slide much more having just bought one...

Why would paint look tired on a 2 year old car?

Probably been driven fairly hard in two years. Had various desinger wraps - not ppf, probably had cameras attached to it. Paint just looks bit tired compared to the typical GT4 thats been tended to. Lots of fine scratches etc.

Agreed - not the most sensible thing to do in a paddock with people around - really stupid thing to do .

That would have been pre organised with full liability cover etc

If you cant do a few doughnuts in a LSD equipped sportscar theres no hope for ya! I've done allsorts in mine including a skid control/drift day. You cant win as you get nagged then for leaving them in the garage. Doing a couple of doughnuts is no cause for faux outrage and will no no harm whatsoever to anything apart from your tyre tread.

I would be more worried about it been thrashed from cold or driven with lack of mechanical sympathy.

It’s not outrage more despair of an internet generation of big kids doing pathetic things, showing off In an effort to get people to watch them - it’s a self obsessed, materialistic , narcissist world ; I hate it,makes me really sad frown

Yeah but its a Cayman doing doughnuts what's not to like? At least you can't hear his irritating lisp with all that tyre squeal!

I guess my point is a more of a general cultural comment rather than about one guy doing donuts in a GT4. I wasn’t trying to be disrespectful to that individual - he seems like a nice enough guy (I really enjoyed his video of the 991.2 GT3 being put together in the factory.)

I just think the worlds gone mad & I don’t get it anymore smile

I get entirely where you are coming from Richard.......difficult sometimes but I guess we have no option other than to try and 'embrace' it!

All the very best for the forthcoming New Year!
