I'd have to say something under 3 minutes should definitely be possible and probably much closer to 2:50 than 3:00 if you're an experienced track driver. Don't get hung up on laptimes though, the objective is to have a good time and keep it out of the wall!
I picked mine up in March 2016 I think. Did 500miles and an oil change, then straight to Spa. I think it was running at 2:48 at the time - I’d expect to be a tad quicker now
Though if it’s your first time then the advice above is sound. Learn the car and circuit, enjoy yourself, and the times will come later. 3ish mins is very good for beginners.

Question for the knowledgeable. I'm in the process of buying Fokkers old car. With the clubbie pack should there be a fire extinguisher as well as drivers harness? Thanks.
Its normally included in with the cs pack..However IIRC Dave sold his fire extinguisher at his local car boot sale, in which he spends a disproportionate amount of his time frequenting..On that note i would also check if the wheels are OEM and not some cheap Halfords rims..I would also consider suing the OPC for 'misrepresentation', if they claim that said GT4 was originally sold to a careful owner..

Thanks, yes I won't be getting hung up on times but good to know close to 3 mins is respectable enough, will see how it goes.I think it was running at 2:48 at the time - I’d expect to be a tad quicker now

Gt4 done a 2.44 and a 997 GT3 2.43 at Spa.
So time to find or aim at.
The new civic doing the rounds getting lap records for a hot hatch at 2.53.
Corner entry and apex speeds key at Spa to find the times as always but more so there imo.
Entry to eau rouge and pouhon not easy.
New GT3 has a 2.40 by some one who said time to fine as he was new there, easy to see the few errors but a good lap all told but cheating with PDK :-)

It's a track which needs balls to nail, get the entry a foot out on the 2 I said and game over.
Get those right and it feels easy, I have been off track at pouhon a few laps, and you need the balls for eau rouge to get the speed for the straight.

Is that a stock Civic at 2:53? I really fancy one of these. I just don’t know whether I can get on with the looks of it thoughSo time to find or aim at.

At Pouhon, turn in a little later, miss the first apex and the you make the second apex and you won’t run wide and carry more speed on the exit. So time to find or aim at.

Yes there should be a fire extinguisher. It gets fitted in the passenger footwell, but many didn't do this as obviously takes up space for passenger's feet. Mine is sat on a shelf in the garage, which I will onbviously regret if I ever need to use it!Passenger harness was an option. Mine came with two sets of shoulder straps - one set narrower than the other, which I think is to make them a better fit of you are using a HANS device?

Seems so, the last model did a 2.56 this new one a 2.53Buy a golf CS though, I have done 17k miles in mine I love it, every one likes a Golf at any age and mines not even the S so I get 4 seats. Not had a hatch this good since my Clio Trophy.

It's a much prettier car the Golf, shame it hasn't got more power though.Buy a golf CS though, I have done 17k miles in mine I love it, every one likes a Golf at any age and mines not even the S so I get 4 seats. Not had a hatch this good since my Clio Trophy.

Don’t need it, I thought I might remap to 360 but just no need.Cars cannot handle the power, I have taken off the torque limiter, fitted engine mounts, swapped tyres and fitted a short shift, great car at that.

Congrats Yes there should be both with the car. I didn't have them fitted so they should be in the front boot.
The car has barely been used since I sold it back via Bolton end of summer 2016.
If you need any info on it please PM me but its completely straight.
Enjoy
