I have sold my 981 spyder and as a result have an IPD, GT3 TB and COBB for sale which is easy fit to GT4 or spyder. Can have headers added. Keen DIY can fit and remove. pm,s
what was it like with >400bhp ?It is much as you would expect in that it feels more open at the top end and also linear so much less evidence of the torque step. It certainly starts to open up the top end so heading in the right direction. Although I stopped short of the final bit ie headers I would certainly do this as well then I think it would be sensational. As near to a GT3 as your going to get.

Simple solution is to ensure your 2 track day mates that you alway run with, also run Radical. Yes faster than the rest with 2 mates to play with. Sorted...Last dedicated track car was a Westie with Hayabusa fitted so I understand the appeal but I have done that. This encourages you to a different level of smoothness etc. No right or wrong I guess just different experience, as a group we planned the Radical purchases to ensure we all had one so we could enjoy this experience.

Nah. been there done that. Once you have blown everything off you realise there is no challenge anymore, everything is in the way and a caterham is more fun and race it or sell it.

IMO a used gt4 seems the best place to buy your money in a usable Porsche GT product at the moment.
Very good 991.1 gt3 an be bought for early 100k but interest in these cars seem to be slowing
Very good RHD 991.1 gt3 rs cars can be bought for 170 to 180k but seem to be falling in price on a weekly bases. These are massively mileage sensitive.
There a huge amount of very low mileage 991.2 gt3 cars on the market as flippers try to cash in, Prices on these will soften as the weather changes.
My advice is you will probably loose the least amount of cash on a gt4 and you will be able to use it, plus the new one will be more expensive and the demand will outway supply, this will help support what is already a very well priced used GT car.
So forgetting the dealer asking prices for a GT4's with CS package. At what price can a GT4 be had privately with say 10k miles ? Tempted to wait till mid winter for one Very good 991.1 gt3 an be bought for early 100k but interest in these cars seem to be slowing

no one knows, the private market is tiny due to part ex and finance issues, and people just get a faster return with SOR.I pointed out the redline car ,and it sold in a few days, that had every thing and was £79k, so cars are selling if top spec low miles for £79k, private would be back at list(with the nice options) £75k if you were lucky and the seller could be arsed to list it private, but they are very thin on the ground. better to show an interest on a forum and get a private forum owned car for a 50/50 deal at £77k both parties win then.
I just think due to the new one , one may was well wait as there will be 600 of them no problem, so you might well get a new one at list !
the specs/rumors and prices are just that rumors, which imo sound too good to be true, but one can never tell with Porsche.
We might well see a car at £69k with a NA 4.0l 420 BHP engine with GT3 running gear/brakes !! and if 1st dibs goes to past GT4 owners then we are going to see a mighty flood of GT4's for sale, like we have with GT3 to RS sales, but this time it will be 10 fold.

I did have a very serious offer from a PHer for a private cash sale, but that was actually under what bolton OPC offered in the end.
The dealers can easily "add" £5k+ to the price of a car and people will pay it as they would rather buy from porsche and have the warranty.

Yep private buyers want daft deals :-( then they miss out and have to pay more .....I did have a very serious offer from a PHer for a private cash sale, but that was actually under what bolton OPC offered in the end.

Looks like yours already sold from the OPC then, or has it not come up yet.

I think that all makes sense. Certainly no real private cars for sale .
