Car mag are clueless.

Reckon on c£74k basic £84k with proper spec excluding ceramics and clubsport.
Thats a 9k increase. I think thats a lot. The 991.2 GT3 was 10k more.

It'll be there abouts but I reckon closer to 70 - 72k. £83 - 84k with CS, buckets and a decent spec.
It will be interesting to see whether the CS pack includes free cage this time like the GT3.

Seem to recollect on the 981 the cage was a joke c £3500 extra even with buckets and if it is around this price on the 718 it's a sure pass for me, at least.
If you go for a new gt4 will you be selling up the gt3, I was under the impression you loved it?
The GT4 is no match for a 991.1 GT3.

And the 718 GT4 will be no match for a 991.2. GT3.

As a package the 991.2 GT3 is hard to beat imo. So it's a keeper.

GT4 and GT3 are totally different cars in different price categories. As Porsche intended.

Looks like the 718 will have centrelocks btw.

Be interesting to hear your views when your new 718 gt4 lands.

I have a feeling it’s going to be a big step up from the first one.

What makes you think the new 718 gt4 will
Have center locks?

New one would need 450 bhp and pdk for me I think.

No chance 450bhp as would threaten the 911s too much.

420 bhp max.

'Manuel' initial run. IF there is PDK this would be 2020.

The recent Car magazine render had centerlocks but none of the mules have had them.

I wouldn't be taking anything Car have said seriously, the article was full of guff.

Yep - and lazy from you AV185. lol.

When i thought that one of the pics of the test mules had centerlocks a while back.. there was quite a lot of kick back.
GT4 wheels were based on the same style as the GT3 last out. This time I think they'll get the RS style.

Agreed. Slightly rounded edges and GT4 logo maybe
At 430hp I really want one. Booked my flight to Geneva hoping.

What do we think will happen to current gen GT4 values following the release? They do seem to have softened a little recently but not a huge amount. Given the demand for the new one I'd imagine the flippers will be taking home some tasty premiums on these.

CS cars weren't that desirable when in the beginning but now I hear a few people saying they they want it. Even though its not an approved cage, it'll help you to come degree and you can have harnesses for track work.

I had it all on my first one, just buckets on the second one. Makes for s bit more occasion but you're right, £3.5k was a bit pricey

The initial flipped 718s are anticipated to be £112k plus, spec dependent.

As we approach Spring and peak buying season the 981 GT4 values should rise further bolstered by the premiums on the 718.

F, how noisy was the cage in yours?

Mine has p11 Spyder buckets no cage. Many cages on GT4s were creaky ?

Also IF, and it's a big IF, PDK (or PDK S which is doubtful) is offered as an option on 2020 cars I would imagine it will be £2500 or so extra unlike the GT3 which was price parity on 'Manuel' and PDK.

Would list price on the current gen be a fair/good price to pay with circa 6k miles and top spec (PCCB, LWB, PCM, chrono etc.)? i.e. at the price point am I brave or stupid to purchase one now prior to the release of the new one?

not imo. I would be waiting for the new model in March before buying anything.

Need more details.

Age, reg, owners, OPC or independent or private sale, warranty, colour and exact spec.

A link to the car would be good.

The number of cars on the OPC locator are dropping week by week. It's now down to 16 cars from 23 at the start of the month. Wait until March and there could be very little choice.
