I tried to buy the Green Bolton GT4 but their trade in offer on my 997.2 4S was really low (especially as I had only bought it from them a year earlier) - no mention was made of its trip to New Zealand though. In the end I bought the GT Silver one from Nottingham which had lower mileage and was £3000 cheaper (and a mucher higher trade in).
The silver one in Nottingham was lovely - I saw it whilst test driving the yellow one they still have. you got a decent spec there tooPorsche911R said:

The Yellow GT4 at OPC Colchester has been sat there for ages......any idea why that's not shifting?
lol it's £88k !!!It can't do cars like that any good just standing around doing nothing. It was sitting outside the last time I saw it...
It’s very clear there’s systematic abuse of the GT4 going on all around us, both by dealers and owners.
Shocking to hear that dealers appear to be leaving these cars outside !!! I mean seriously, that’s just awful, how on earth can they justify doing such a thing ? I’d be writing to my local MP and Trading Standards, not to mention the SMMT.
It’s absolutely imperative that we put an end to cars being left outside ever again.
As if it’s that’s not bad enough, we now have owners wilfully abusing their cars by taking them to other countries too. Does anyone know how much road salt the Kiwis put on their roads during the Winter ?
The very thought of buying a car that’s been taken to and driven in another country sends shivers down my spine. I mean can you imagine someone actually taking a car to a country such as Germany for instance, and driving it there ? God forbid, even the thought of it makes me feel physically sick.
Local police forces should employ an officer specifically tasked with finding those guilty of these unspeakable crimes against cars, I’d suggest someone as diligent as PC Savage :

Yes I seem to recall its been to New Zealand and back? Nice car but I wonder if all the traveling and being registered in different countries might put people off?
It went to New Zealand for 6 months. One of my clients was here in the UK and loved it so bought it and flew it out there. I bought it back off him and shipped it back. You couldn't get a PTS car in new zealand so it was the only one in the country. Conservative bunch out there. I missed it so much I bought it back. It had a service at the dealer out there, and did around 2500 miles. Also it has a full front and side PPF fitted.
Loved that car. Bolton gave me a strong trade in on it.

So I have been calling for GT4's and there all selling, 6 this week! I should have put a deposit on one but turned up to view it and it sold that morning, the sun has to come out when i start looking lol.
I looked at a 18K mile car which has PCCB, its done track days, but been well maintained. I'll post pictures of the brake discs/pad wear, can anyone with PCCB comment on the condition or is this really hard to do? Any help appreciated.

Yep, the OPC locator bears out what you found...there were 20 on it in the middle of last week and only 15 on it today.JayK12 said:

I would definitely get them checked to see if they are within Porsche specs. Could be a costly fix if they are coming to the end of there life. I just don’t get the need for ceramics as the cost of replacement is massive.

Those PCCBs look like new IMO..I had a GT4 with PCCBs and its the most over braked car the world's ever seen..IMHO a GT4 neither has the weight or power to trouble the 918 Spyder brakes so a safe bet..
Could be a costly mistake! If it’s a OPC car surely they would inspect and confirm the life left in them?
What’s the cost to replace the disks and pads with new oem ones?

As you know i bought a 458 a few days before Xmas and my main concern regarding the late 61 17k miler was CCBs wear..Luckily it had just had a full health check from DL Swindon and CCBs wear was 8%F and 10%R..This is with smaller discs with 145KG extra weight and 185HP more power compared to a GT4.If it’s a OPC car surely they would inspect and confirm the life left in them?

Thanks for the comments chaps, it's not an OPC car. I've been told its had around 5/6 track days rest of Euro miles.
I really like it, but it would be the first car I've had with Ceramics so have no experience with them, hence asking on here. I don't think its had OPC Service History either, but has had the oil changed every 2.5K miles by Indy. Waiting to find out.
