overview on the deal we've just done, took delivery yesterday.

it was a SOR car with JZM.

https://www.jzmporsche.com/used-vehicle-details/Po...

I discovered yesterday it has dual climate control which i wasn't expecting

we paid £75k which i think is reasonable considering only 1550 miles

That is very nice!.. I love white, looks a good spec as well..

Mine has been having some work (stone chips front bumper and new plastic trim on the front)
Also had the gearbox replacement and has just passed the over Rev check.

I have been told there is a couple of people with serious interest on the car, so fingers crossed it should go, actually not in that much of a rush actually, as if it didn't sell I would welcome it back.

These are cracking cars, its been fun in the relatively few miles I have done.

That was a very good price considering spec and mileage. Did you throw in a px or straight deal?

Everybody should be happy with that ... it can't be far from list ...

Just such shame that the original owner didn't enjoy it more ... !

Straight deal. Original owner obviously wanted to get rid. They had it up for £79,900... that’s what i was talking about a few posts ago, if you buy for a fair price then you shouldn’t lose too much. I see most the dealers and OPC’s have adjusted their list prices recently across a whole range of stock. My old clubsport was so similar to this one and the OPC in Portsmouth just sold it for around £80k with over 8k miles!

Beautiful, and looks a great deal, on a basically new car, congrats

Considering the lowest priced car with no issues is 70k at OPC South London, with 30k miles, this seems a bargain

I think you did very well! Are JZM easy to work with? What about warranty..?

I'm liking the GT Silver GT4 JZM have, doesn't seem to have the greatest of spec other than the 918 buckets and nav.

It does seem like the values are creeping towards lower end 70k overall.

After the summer nice spec cars will start with a 6 private, there are 3 cars already starting with a 6 and not selling due to miles etc.

So they will have to drop to £65k at least, then add 5k for lower miles cars, I would not want to be paying over £70k for one, even private nice spec Spyders need to be £65k to sell now, the £68k car is a very nice car , last year I got £67k trade, so it makes you wonder what the seller was offered trade to then list it at £68k must have been low £60k and that’s against a car he wants it seems at the same OPC.

Markets flat on its arse atm.

Looks like good deal, especially as JZM are widely seen as 'tier 1' when it comes to the supplying of GT cars, makes the private cars being advertised at late £70s, and even early £80s look out of whack with the mkt.

I have been saying this too and all I have had in reply is complete criticism. 70k is now the benchmark for a GT4, and expect that to hit 60k by end of year. In the past few weeks we have seen a 5k drop, I guess people here must be in complete denial or deluded, but there is only one way the 981GT4 is going and that’s 60k.

So when it hits £60k end of 2019 and the few flipped 718 versions could easily be hitting £100k +++ buying the 981 version for your predicted 60k++ will once again make it the bargain of the 21st Century beer

You received criticism because you stated something that was completely untrue, i.e. That the average GT4 price was now 70k, which is of course complete nonsense, seeing as that figure(or the 1 ot 2 at 69995) is the minimum price they are available for

The average is around 78k

No way will they lose 10k in the next 6 months

I think £60k for a decent spec car might be wishful thinking, however, with 718 cars at £100k, a can see a £30k diff for a car that is a model younger, 'brand new', versus circa 5 years old, 2 years factory warranty etc etc.

There is a circa £40k gap between a 63 plate 991.1 Gt3, versus a 68 plate 991.2 GTS (Pdk)

Advertised price, indeed. Actual sale price is lower. Nobody is paying what the advertised price is. They'll take 10% off with haggling, which equates closer to 70K.

Possibly so, but I doubt they will sky rocket back up. By then the 981 GT4 will hold around 60 and the 718GTS around 45K/50 for when the 2020 718Touring F6 comes out which will fill the difference between the old 718GTS and the 718GT4.

Presumably you mean 991.2 GT3.

First flipped 718 GT4s anticipated to be £115k for decent spec.

Price will be influenced by whether there will be the mooted 10%Brexit surcharge which will mean a decent spec car will be c £100k.

Not necessarily.

As ever good spec cars always sell quickly at the correct prices if they are priced right.

Genuine question
Why pay the ott flip prices when the new model comes out if they slip back down in a couple of years especially as these are mileage sensitive. It's like putting it in your garage and hardly using it and watching the extra ££ you paid go down the pan.

Yes, correction I meant 991.2 GTS

If as you say, list plus Btax could is around £100k, I can see early flipped car in and around £115k.
