I think you did very well! Are JZM easy to work with? What about warranty..?

I'm liking the GT Silver GT4 JZM have, doesn't seem to have the greatest of spec other than the 918 buckets and nav.

It does seem like the values are creeping towards lower end 70k overall.
JZM are great.
That silver car is an import from Cyprus and its got the smaller fuel tank

I don’t see flipped new GT4

Not sure there are buyers at overs for them when GT3 are 15k overs no one’s going to pay £30k or even £20k overs for the new GT4 knowing in 2020 there will be 100,s slots available.

Do we really have people in the UK prepared to pay £115k for the new GT4 , I Don,t think so.
2019 slots are pretty pointless as the cars arrive in winter, so who cares about a 2019 slot anyway. Maybe the PDK cars will be the sort after ones this time due to the late arrival.

If you have a GT4 now in your own spec, it’s not worth the change and these people won’t pay overs to swap either.

I do think we will see enough slots for buyers all told.

I agree that it'll be very daft to pay overs for the 718GT4/Spyder.. Unfortunately as the old saying goes ''A fool and his money are soon parted'' and it'll take a real fool to pay substantial overs knowing full well that there will be plenty new available next year..
Just been watching some U tube videos of the Lotus 410 Sport, a car i absolutely love with its 410BHP Supercharged engine, exposed linkage manual box and only 1100Kg..Really interested to see comparisons between these two cars on a track..

Yep my next car as the scud I had my eye on has sold already !
So back to the 410sport for a laugh, but not till next year now, been tweaking my Spyder for weight loss and what a car that is, you would love it.

I don’t get the hunt for new cars, hence the 430scud idea, my most fun car is 9 years olds etc etc. Only older cars offer the involvement, the issue is picking a era over buying a classic which are to hard to look after.

My mate did go newer sold his 65 for a 66 :-) .

I have to say it is bonkers that - a 6000 mile car that’s probably 3 years old , sold privately for what looks like over list is a stretch to say the least frown
Its up for 80k currently

It clearly wasn't 3 years old and was sold by an OPC when up for 93k

That’s dropped then, was 45 to 50 not that long ago, so they must be selling. I’ve said for a while tidy used gt4 cars seem to be selling.

GT4's are very hard to value atm.

I agree £65k is too low, as the cars a very high spec low miles car, but it's not selling at £79k.

I firm offer sorry to say might be £69k and at a guess that would be higher than a dealer buy out price.

But I am only guessing, it's very hard car to value atm.

only way to max a return on a car this value is a SOR but than means no use of the car in this nice weather.

Pricing roughly in between trade price and (reputed indy) dealer price seems sensible?

It’s as hard to value as a used 991.2 gt3 manual!

It’s worth what’s it worth, if this was your car you would be saying it’s worth £79.995!

The car is worth 75k all day long used with that spec imo as long as it’s mint.

Buy it then :-)

I said it’s a hard car to value to sell it as atm it is a high spec cars and not selling.

I have zero interest in the prices, I know my cars drooping that’s a moot point in a GT4 thread.
I am not trying to sell it or either moan about it.

You say it’s worth what it’s worth and in your opinion £75k with no warranty you think ?

The adverts also poor, it needs dates, services etc and the offer of the 111 OPC check.
No punters buying a car without a OPC 111 check at any price imo.

To help give a bit of context to this thread, I sold my car to a dealer about 10 days ago. It was up for sale on here and Autotrader and they contacted me along with a few individuals and 2 other dealers.

It was a high spec car with PCCB's and low miles in perfect condition with over a year's warranty on it and PPF. I sold it to them for £75.5k, had it up at £77k. Had a couple of stupid offers which is always expected, but the right could be out there. It is definitely taking longer to sell and fewer enquiries than usual though

I'm still at a loss with pricing especially when you compare the JZM car with 4k miles, 918 seats, good spec and the red car with 14k miles comfort spec being sold by Somerset. Both are priced at £71k.

Going off the vlaue of the JZM car the14k comfort spec should be sitting at low-mid £60k?

From earlier in the thread, apparently the JZM car is an import from Cyprus, with the smaller fuel tank

What impact that should have, who knows, but I imagine that is why it seems keenly priced

We looked at Lee’s car. Lovely example with all the right bits. Alexanders now have it up for a 10% premium. Will be interesting to see where it ends up.

Agree, it’s worth the seller offering to put a warranty on it for the new owner that way they have more to offer than an independent which hasn’t got a Porsche Warranty!
If you put a Porsche warranty on a car and sell privately, does the warranty transfer? I seem to recall when I put the warranty on my car, they said it doesn't, but they do rebate unused amount if you sell it back through Porsche (thought whether you really get the money back depends on whether they knock it off the bid price of course).
