I have a burning desire for a Cayman R. This thread isn't going to help. If anyone has one in the South East and is up for taking a fellow PHer for a spin, please let me know!
Martins down your way mate or if you fancy a plod to Essex you can drive mine Then you’ll have the ultimate drivers garage.

Only thing I can think of everyone is sorted for this summer.
Bargain good luck with your sale.

Top man thanks frayz, looks like I'll be paying you a visit soon to kill two birds with one stone
Always welcome to drop me a message on IG mate. Mines not a standard CR so may feel a little different to another one, but you'll get the gist of it. I think you should be prepared to want one. Ha
Hi All,
I have considered buying a Cayman R in the past but never quite bitten the bullet. My boss is looking to bid on the below car on Collecting Cars, Any thoughts on it? I know you regulars know these cars well and would be the best people to ask.

I have been keeping an eye on that auction. it is a very nice low mileage and low owners example. Its fully loaded and doesn't want for anything. There is no right or wrong answer to manual vs PDK but be aware that manual ones can command, or have done during covid price peaks, £10k more, with the rest of the right spec, than a PDK version. Unsure if the auction has a reserve but I expect the seller is seeking £45K (considering mileage) and as PDK is less lusted after, I don't think it will hit its target on CC.
But, it appears flawless and if you like Basalt Black and PDK then you can't go wrong.

Most recent bid is Ashgood. That means you're bidding against them. I suspect they've got deep pockets. Doesn't mean you can't win but probably means you won't get a bargain.
