I sold a manual Cayman R with superb spec (extended leather, buckets, AC, correct wheels, etc) for mid 40s.
I’m sure owners will say that I sold too cheap but it’s a niche model and doesn’t necessarily have people lining up at close to £50k.
Sorry for the honesty!
Depends on the milage - might have been a great price achieved.I’m sure owners will say that I sold too cheap but it’s a niche model and doesn’t necessarily have people lining up at close to £50k.

Hoping someone can point in the right direction here
Does anyone with a non air on car know what main drive belt the car uses?
PET only shows one option, an not a different one for AC and non AC
Have spoken to one specialist and a Porsche tech who both just said there is only on option in PET, but there must be a different option, surely?
Alternatively can someone who has a non aircon car advise who they use for service so I can contact them, and see if they can help
Any ideas?

Just come across this thread. I sold my Exige a few weeks ago and Cayman R’s have caught ny eye. Although I don’t know much about them. I’d want manual and a nice colour.
I had a 981 GT4 a few years ago and wasn’t much of a fan as it just felt clinical/ boring and I didn’t like the electric steering. Read the R has hydraulic though so it might be the car for me? I like something rare and a bit special.

Hi Keo.
I’ve had my R since 2013. I have no idea as to what I would replace it with. It is a visceral driving experience which beats all my previous cars into ordinary machines.
I wish you the best of luck in finding a nice one, they don’t come up often. Always loved the Exige but found it difficult to climb in and out of with a modicum of confidence and hope that my body would recover.
I’ve never tracked mine. Prefer to drive carts!

Thanks for the reply. Ha luckily iv never struggled getting in and out. I have just had 3’s lotus’s now and fancy a change. Something a little more practical so I use it more would be good as well.I’ve had my R since 2013. I have no idea as to what I would replace it with. Less that 2K milage, but more than 2K miles away.

Nice spec car, and sensibly priced. My R is similar (42k miles) other than the smaller fuel tank, but has the PDLS and is peridot. I'd expect it to be worth something similar, mid 30s as a private sale. Not that I'm planning to sell it.
