It is missing a few expensive options if you want an oem car with all the correct options, but would make a great donor car for modding, I would buy it today if I did not have 5 cars, I really miss mine, but the next car I buy will be a BIG project., just need to sell stuff 1st and the markets dead so pointless atm.

I'm surprised the JZM car hasn't sold by now.
Reduced a couple of weeks ago, good spec, at one of the best independent dealers....
Market seems to be completely dead at the moment..
That's £6k less than that exact car sold for 2 years ago. I'd be tempted if I hadn't just bought a bloody Lotus!! Reduced a couple of weeks ago, good spec, at one of the best independent dealers....
Market seems to be completely dead at the moment..

The lack of PSE and sport chrono pack are hurting the price alongside a dead market. A good price from which to start negotiations to bag a bargain for someone though - and may fetch a little more around Easter 2020 as the market picks up again.
I don’t think SC is really ever a deal breaker on the manual 987 in any guise, easily remedied too. On a PDK I’d be inclined to agree and say it’s more desirable. That car has no PSE but does have a Carnewal exhaust, which we all know sound better

The pse is pig iron, and the sports crono is just software which can be added. The lack of those means it’s not a £48k car on this fickle market, but as it stands it’s the best value car for sale with all the important options at £39k esp as there is always wiggle room, annoyed I cannot bid on it atm.

What?! How can those 2 options command a £10k difference in price! The lack of those means it’s not a £48k car on this fickle market, but as it stands it’s the best value car for sale with all the important options at £39k esp as there is always wiggle room, annoyed I cannot bid on it atm.
Dealers are not paying close to £40k for CR now, they’re not worth what they were a year ago. That’s a fact unfortunately, despite being a great car.
£48k is dreaming, and someone would be be mad to pay anywhere near close to that.

There have been two R's go for that or have vanished the last 2 weeks. Trade price means nothing, this car is cheap.Dealers are not paying close to £40k for CR now, they’re not worth what they were a year ago. That’s a fact unfortunately, despite being a great car.

Low miles high spec cars still sell for just under £50k nothing moved in the R market much price wise.miles kills the prices, not the market dropping on this model.
Which Lotus did you buy , I forget.
While I would not pay above £45k for one some will if the miles are in the teens,

Dealers are paying less on all cars, particularly on Porsches and even more so on cars that were trading on inflated prices. Anybody who suggests otherwise is in denial or trying to protect their own investment, because the facts are very clear.
I’ve seen CRs for sale at £48k, I’ve yet to hear of anybody paying that price for a CR, possibly one but it was a special car (not Pete’s by the way). I don’t believe either of those cars sold for near that price.
I know of one or two folk looking to sell or trying to sell their CR at the moment. Both looking realistically at sub £40k after negotiation.
I paid £44k in May, buckets, 17k miles, PSE, full leather etc etc, good spec but no A/C which doesn't bother me at all. Also got 30 months Porsche warranty and a very good trade in price on my 911.
I was and still am happy to have paid that. Best drivers car I've owned...and there have been a fair few!
The ones for sale with really low miles around £45k represent decent value to me.
The JZM one is a good price for a decent spec IMO. Someone's going to nab a bargain...

What’s the point in paying for a low mileage car, knowing that after sticking 10k miles on it you’ve lost £5-6k devaluation just for the mileage alone, not accounting for other costs. I was and still am happy to have paid that. Best drivers car I've owned...and there have been a fair few!

I think I’d rather take a 30k miler for a discount and enjoy the thing - let’s face it Porsche’s don’t wear out after 30k miles!
The JZM car is worth it, I’d certainly buy it....oh hang on 🤔😉

Higher mileage cars (35-40k miles) were only about £2-3k cheaper at the time so a 17k miler was a no brainier...especially with OPC warranty for 30 months!
