Wondering if someone could do me a favour - I'm looking for a pic of the back of an original wheel centre cap in silver.
I've lost a cap, however the originals I had are black as my car used to have black wheels. They have 5 tabs on the back whereas all the replacements I can find (genuine and otherwise) have 10. The silver ones I bought last year had the 10 tabs and never fitted as well as the original black ones do which I think is part of the reason one made a bid for freedom. Hoping to find a part number for an original silver one.
Cheers.

The clips on the back look right but I'm not sure from the pics of those are the concave ones. I'll do some more digging. Thanks https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-OEM-Porsche-911-Box...

I replaced mine last year only cost £130 direct from Porsche so didn’t see the point looking online for a small saving. They apply discount if you tell them you’re part of PCGB, they don’t ask for any membership codes
Aye, the parts guys at my OPC don't even need asked, they just apply discount for me. Sadly they can't find a silver version of the original caps. The parts number on the black ones I have doesn't appear in their system either. They've got a set of concave silver ones with the 10 tabs on the back, but the originals I have with the 5 fit so much better that I ideally want them.Getting new badges for the black ones and repainting them is another possible option.

Ahh understood, I think mine had the 10 clips too. I provided them with my old part number and they said it didn’t exist anymore in their catalog. I think they’ve made changes to that part, I may be wrong. He had to find mine via the chassis number as he wasn’t getting anything via the part number or registration plateGetting new badges for the black ones and repainting them is another possible option.
Mine are the silver / black crest on the Porsche design wheels though (an S not R)

They’re not. It’s a trick of the light.
Sorry, missed this post. In that case they certainly do look close. Current thinking is that if I can get new crests I might just DIY refurb the black ones and make them silver. I need to measure up the crests and see if I can find some quality new ones for sensible money. I'd try and seal them to prevent future water ingress if I go this route. For now the car is wearing the tatty black caps which don't look as bad on the silver rims as I'd expected. I couldn't deal with driving it with a missing one or one an odd colour.
Not sure if this has been posted before, if it has, i haven't seen it.
10:10 for effort but this lads delivery isn't the easiest to listen to.
But if you fancy a full on Cayman R geek out on what's different between a Cayman R vs a Cayman S, its all outlined here and he's done a very comprehensive job of it too.

Hi guys,
I have a white R that I’m reluctantly open to selling as we are looking to move out of our rental and buy a home.
It has all the good bits :
Manual
Buckets
Chrono
PSE
AC
Alcantara gear lever, steering wheel & glovebox
Black Spyders
33k miles
I’d prefer to enjoy it over summer but if a compelling offer comes, I’m open to selling.
DM me if interested.

Hi A1Diego - I’m very interested. I have tried to DM you but your profile is not allowing this. I think there is a profile setting you need to amend to proactively allow this. Please feel free to message me through here. It would be great to hear from you. I have a white R that I’m reluctantly open to selling as we are looking to move out of our rental and buy a home.
