Apologies as I'm sure this has been done to death, but what's the latest consensus on tyres? Car is mainly used for spirited drives and longer road trips. Goodyear Eagle F1s are what's coming off
Good chat on PS4's @ https://www.caymanoc.com/forums/topic/2574-are-my-...

I am aiming do update to PS4S's next month, they seem all the rage. I do note they are quite old in terms of technology, but I guess tyre development is a slow process. i bet like with Playstations, there will be a PS5 out soon!

PS4S's on mine too, I do feel as if the sidewall is a little flexible compared to other stuff I've had on the car when you really lean on it around a corner. I run mine at 36PSI ~

Nonetheless fantastic tyre and great grip, you can't go wrong with them!

Friendly reminder that PS4s and PS4S' are 2 different tyres.

I believe PS4 replaced PS2 and PS4S replaced MPSS.

Generally, PS4S are regarded higher for most fast road driving on here (or at least in my forum readings)...
Enjoy! driving

I too went from the Goodyear F1 to the Michelin PS4S last year when my 2015 Boxster GTS needed new boots. I loved both sets of tires and think the Michelins are better (although one has to consider the Goodyear F1 were 5 years old and well worn when replaced), particularly in the wet. You cannot go wrong with either, but I would try the Michelins. You will not regret it.

My car is on the classifieds. I'm sure everyone will have an opinion but it's a well loved example with all the right kit.

Looks like a lovely and well cared for example @a1diego

Slight change of subject, but what's the best mpg anyone's had out of their R?! I managed 37.5mpg on a 50 mile run recently! Pretty amazed with that!

Also attended Simply Porsche on Sunday down at Beaulieu Motor Museum, which had a really good turnout.

I've been all over the place in mine lately... definitely not a garage queen! She's now at GT One for a major service, plugs, brake fluid and rear brake pads, drive belt and airbag check... can't wait for the bill!! rolleyes

Run back from the IOM to Essex i managed 41mpg (indicated) from Liverpool to home. That was at a steady 75/80mph all the way too. Amazingly economical if you're just cruising.

Interested to see how this fares. Chairs, no PSE or Spyders and moon miles according to the experts.

That mileage is my target for the next few years smile

If it sells for that much then prices really are going a bit crazy!

I bought mine in Glasgow and 35mpg on the drive back to Aberdeen was the highest mines been. Don't think it's been above 30 ever since. Long term average is 21. I didn't buy it to cruise at 70 in 6th. biglaugh I suspect it would be in the teens, but if it's an nice day I take it on hillwalking trips and some of the roads heading west are policed enough that I have to be more careful of my speed. driving

Car is now sold. Going to an owner up north who is super passionate and I can tell is going to be an amazing custodian. Wish him and you all very happy miles in your Rs. I will miss her terribly.

I took mine to local Indie on Tuesday and the mechanics we're all out to have a look at it. They'd only ever seen two and there was alot hotter/more expensive pork than mine in their garage that day!

Good detective work! could well be if they have painted the front lip and completed the decal, which they could have done

Well, that's it then. A 60k+ miler with all the right bits must be a £40k thing now...
