The link is dead.
It was a Guards Red manual buckets, PCCB's - full beans - unicorn spec. It was listed by Evolution Performance Cars in Heswall.
Interestingly, it hasn't made it onto their sold cars list.

Having just completed an extended Porsche experience comparing 911 GT3 and Cayman S back to back. I'm seriously considering a Cayman R has an option, being, not too extreme (I have a Caterham for that), but usable for every day life.
My ideal spec would be comfort seats (although I've not tried the buckets), pdk and the lighter wheels (Spyder?). Was sports exhaust an option?
Anything else I should be looking for as I start this journey?
I'll run back through this thread and start my Cayman research, but as a previous non Porsche owner (Lotus centric) this is all a new.
I'm based in Oxfordshire if anyone is close to show me around one.

PSE was indeed available. I think the ideal spec would include full leather, as I think it really lifts the cabin.
I bought a meteor grey car from a fellow member on this thread and stupidly decided to sell it as I wasn t using it enough. Should have kept it !
Lots of people feel the buckets make the experience special, which is true. However, i now have a low mileage 987.2 Cayman S manual, and feel that it s 85-90% of the car vs the R (at least for my driving ability!!), but at a materially lower price.
Ignoring the debate on bucket seats, the must-have options for me (others may disagree):
- full leather
- xenon headlights
- sound upgrade (can t remember if Bose was an option on the R)
- PCM (as i wanted CarPlay and don t like after-market units)
I think all the PDK R’s came with paddle shifts (instead of the steering wheel buttons).
PSE would be great if possible but many feel that the .2 cars (DFI engine) didn t benefit from the same PSE noise as earlier cars.
I retrofitted PSE to my 987 Spyder, but my 987.2CS doesn t have PSE. I want a slightly noisier exhaust, so considering the Carnewal GT exhaust (and potentially some sports cats) but in no rush to do it.
I see you re looking for a PDK car, which means no need to worry about over-revs.
Welcome others to comment also!

Apologies.... I'd not see it previously.
Is it the first time on AT ?
We have seen it for sale before the BAT auction - then that auction - and now for sale again. Is it the first time on AT ?
I think we have seen it before even the first that I mention in the past year.
The previous owners = 8 speaks volumes....but it is a lovely example.
Peridot Green with a manual box up for sale for £40,995

I do prefer these with full silver wheels, but that's just being picky.

£41k for 82k miles, non-Spyder wheels and sport seats. Does Peridot really command that much of a premium?https://www.classicmoderncars.co.uk/PorscheR-YT61R...
