On the subject of spec, can any 718 owners who have taken delivery confirm if the boot opening technique in the below video (at about the 5 min mark) is standard?

The chap seems to brush the 718 cayman badge which unlocks the rear boot. I've driven a few 718s and never noticed this.. like a luddite I always used the key to unlock the rear boot! Someone will probably be along to tell me this has been standard since the 987 generation but I've somehow missed it everytime!

And I wonder how it works if you select the de-badge option?

Doesn't work on mine - I noticed it in the manual and I think it's for those that have spec'ed with keyless entry.

It's been a long wait but finally take delivery on Saturday. Graphite blue crayon sportex interior. Sport design package in gloss black.

This is just about all I have with limitations of the showroom. Must admit I was absolutely shocked how good it looked in the flesh (IMHO of course)
