That's what I'm thinking. New colour, something different. I really hope she does too otherwise I'm in trouble!!

Car should have docked today and is due into dealership by end of week so will know soon. We're not planing to take delivery for a few weeks though. frown

I assume you'll pay it a visit when it arrives? If so, let us know what you and your wife think. Photos for those of us waiting would be nice too!

My partner has one on order. Graphite blue with Crayon/Black and same wheels. Delivery has snuck up on us. Should be getting next month or for March reg.

She worried that she should have gone for Agate Grey. And now she saw the half red interior on some she is liking that too.

I'm hopeful she'll like ours as much having not see that combo in flesh yet. Really pleased how good the 19s look. Went smaller as not diamond cut and being smaller a bit more rim protection and more repairable.
I Looked long (months) and hard(going to look at AG on a Boxster at 3 different locations, on numerous occasions) at Agate Grey, in some light conditions it looks great but in others bland and a little brown. The Graphite Blue is a lot stronger colour and a way better choice, IMO, she will not be disappointed.

Thanks, bear with me and I'll get one or two on the site.
As far as the interior goes we told the salesman that we wanted to have a similar interior to a GTS...alcantar/carbon etc..which we pretty much got except we thought when we said a carbon interior we were getting all the interior, he only put it on the dash and not the doors.
Im assuming that we could have had it on the doors?<snip>
Mark
Carbon's not available for the doors as far as I can work out. Which seats did you go for? I'm going to go for the standard as it seems the only way to get alcantara, but means the rest of the seat is leatherette rather than leather. Can't wait to see photos!

yes we have the same seats as you, it got to the stage where we had to draw the line at some stage on the options.

Hopefully the pictures will give you some idea of what your interior may look like.

Mark,

Great stuff, thank you! I think I've pretty well settled on everything thanks to your photo. Except Nav and Connect+ of course...

Your wife's Boxster looks fab inside and out. Hope she loves it.

sorry mate you wait three days for me to reply and I stick that on. Jeez, older fellas and new fangled stuff shouldnt mix.
Well some older fellas like me in any case, others Im sure are more able to operate these things than me.
Right just off to spend me green shield stamps.

Nice to see an Australian 718

In all seriousness though, love the wheels!

Those wheels are "epic" as the kids would say these days. Unfortunately just a bit out of budget for me so I'm settling for the 'normal' Carrera 20s.

Is that carmine red or guards red? I really struggle to tell the difference in pictures as guards red always looks totally different depending on the light. Either way, the car looks fantastic.

Here's a good image, that I borrowed off the forum when deciding on my colour choice,.showing the two reds next to each other. Carmine is the deeper deeper red at the bottom of the picture..

It's arrived in the dealership! Asked for a photo but he hasn't sent one. Then I asked again. And again. Hoping this week. He blamed poor weather. I hope it's not broken!

I read the GTS review as I the press car is in that colour. Some pleasing comments as many on here accused it of looking like primer. I don't think so. Just really want a pic of the actual car so I can justify the thread!

Lovely! Those wheels look so much better in reality than on configurator. Nice dish to then that doesn't show online.

Still waiting for our photos...

I had 20" wheels on my 981 and it was a bit harsh on my local roads so I went for 19" this time. I picked the 19" cayman S wheels as other than I like the look of them they look easy to keep clean.

Would be nice to get a picture in the sun but there maybe a wait for that. So had to take a few pictures under cover after spending the day cleaning the car

Picked this up yesterday. Colour is really interesting - very reactive to light. We love it, most who have seen in flesh approve.

Interior is Crayon/Black
